Ive come across that to mate. 10 people allowed here at a funeral and social distancing, locally undertakers aren’t doing morning cars due to Covid. It’s awful for people. I’ve seen situations were cremations have taken place with just family. In the time ahead they will bring ashes to a church and have a respectful memorial service where wider family and community can pay respects, offer support and grieve.

The whole thing is a recipient for disenfranchised anticipatory and bereavement grief.

I couldn’t go to my uncles funeral because of the restrictions, it’s not very nice......

I'd like to think we will have twelve hours more of comical defence before the Guardian / Mirror combination do something like reveal their main witnesses are the Queen, Sir Tom and the ghostly form of Winston Churchill and that they can prove beyond any doubt whatsoever that Cummings not only went to Durham twice but is also the Croydon Cat Killer.

He’s got an alibi regarding those cats......

Ive come across that to mate after the person has died. Funerals are needed by the community society to acknowledge loss, grieve and to offer support to those closest, equally for those closest it’s an opportunity to honor their life, wishes and respect their beliefs and receive support.

Currently over here there are 10 people allowed at a funeral and social distancing, no hugs or arms around the shoulder, locally undertakers aren’t doing morning cars due to Covid. I suspect one of my team; who asked me to source the Government guidelines about funerals when her father died recently, after she wasn't able to visit him before his death, might look at me a little quizzically on Tuesday after being told by the Government today that she, me, the NHS, the Undertaker and her immediately family should've just ignored their advice and done what they thought was best.

that is what a good person would have done

Ah, I do like it when journalists don't publish everything in one go - here's the rope Mr Cummings, you don't know yet, but on the end of the rope is a noose.

Will Johnson give him a last minute pardon, or does he value his own career more than that of his mate ?

We are Stage Three of a Tory broke the rules response.

At this stages, the Tories will admit rules were broken/guidelines were not followed BUT it was only a minor mistake.
