TBF its a lot easier for me though; I mean its obvious what various countries are doing in terms of lockdowns, closing borders etc, what economic slowdown has occured (especially in China), and even Foreverblue correctly said what knock-on effects there could be as a result of this.

You appear to be basing your theory on this being less bad than something that kills between 100000 and 500000 people a year globally, which is sort of a hollow victory at best.

I find it quite fascinating. Sitting here watching people across the world all concerned about the same thing (apart from some Americans, who 'dont believe in it'), with unprecedented situations posing all kinds of questions that have never been planned out, like football. Nobody ever imagined, in the modern age, that the football season would really have to stop. Yet here we are and absolutely nobody knows what will happen next.

The confusion from major authorities over what to do is just fascinating, and also kind of worrying in itself that when things have to stop, there are so few contingencies or strategies in place. How fragile our way of life actually is.

Much of the advice about prevention etc is the same given in relation to all viruses. Maintain distance and proper cleanliness etc, if displaying symptoms etc don't interact with others.

What's currently happening worldwide regarding travel restrictions, closures etc will not last too much longer I believe.

Within a month it'll almost all be lifted.

OK mate believe what you want - I wouldn't spend my Friday night blagging about having a bloody mortgage and kid believe me there are far more finer things I could fantasise about having such as a 10" Johnson and jet setter life!

No you cant bud and its thats arrogance of most folk today in western society - you think you can control everything but you cant - if you could no one would be catching this thing.

You can try and prevent catching and spreading it - but there are no guarantees hence why its a pandemic.

When mother nature says its your time up then thats what it'll be - you and I are insignificant in the grand scheme of the universe - the world was here long before us and It'll be here long after so make the most of it whilst you can.

Thats not saying have no concerns or be reckless - you can be sensible whilst also putting the 24/7 news off and going for a walk or a pint with your mate.
