I did that for the first time last Winter, after the previous Winter's ski trip was nearly wrecked by flu (the whole chalet went down with it).

I'm definitely going to keep doing it each year. I've had flu twice now in my life time and it is horrendous.

Yeah I’d like to claim I get mine each year to nobly protect the vulnerable but in reality it is because a) my doctor is a woman on a mission to get everyone vaccinated for anything there is a vaccine for b) I’m a big baby when ill.

If it's elitist to wonder why on earth you'd queue for hours in a hot metal box to eat crap food that tastes of nothing then I'm a dreadful snob. Especially when there's probably a hundred local businesses within a 15 minute drive that would really appreciate your trade.

I like a McDonalds but I'd never queue for it if there were other options. If you think it tastes of nothing then there might be an issue with your tastebuds - that's a symptom isn't it?!

I go for a walk and then come home - and then do plenty of lovely self isolated sitting

It‘s all part of the ‘let’s not point fingers of blame’ but surely we can ‘nail the Tories with this one‘ routine......It’s like the arguments over numbers, they really don’t matter anymore but the left insist upon stating the highest possible number as if that somehow proves they were right about something...it doesn’t reverse a single death, it doesn’t save a single life, and they couldn’t give a damn about the number anyway as long as it’s a political stick.....
