You are the perfect patsy. It was opaque, but other than issuing everyone with a six hundred page manual it started the process. The details have followed and even been subtly amended by today. People want to be treated as adults, well now they have the chance to prove it. The ‘guidance’ is absolute common sense and statements of the bleeding obvious. Of course those that never agree with this government on anything have gone into deliberate obtuse mode....

The plan is expected to endorse a number of “corona corridors” already in the works, including a deal being hammered out among Greece, Cyprus, and Israel that would allow tourists to travel without quarantine between these three nations, all of which have escaped the worst of the pandemic by locking down hard and early. One in four jobs in Greece and two in four in Cyprus are tourism-related and since Israel has recently emerged as a demographic that adores both nations as holiday destinations, the deal was a no-brainer. But it has been difficult to work out the finer points, like Israel’s own mandatory quarantine for all international travelers that would have to be lifted for Greeks and Cypriots.
“That means agreeing on every possible guideline and health protocol—from the medical clearances travelers will need to have before setting foot in either of the three countries, to whether hotels will offer breakfast and dinner buffets,” Greek Tourism Minister Haris Theoharis told Voice of America this week. “Tracking and tracing systems will also have to be in place if there is an outbreak of infections at a resort.”
Its on twitter now mateTory mp Jake Berry has flouted lock down rules and has turned up at his holiday home near here with his family for the second time since his own party announced lock down restrictions. He has threatened legal action against anybody reporting this in the press lol .... one rule for us and another for themselves... rats ... typical Tory rats

Makes no sense. How many people get the first buyer through the door and they take it?Ok! So to put context to what he said, which is all important in this instance, he went on to say that a "viewing" would normally be a one off, whereas if they ok "family" visits this will lead to numerous visits, see in context makes perfect sense!
But I do agree that there are "economic " reasons these "restrictions" are being lifted, economy over life!
On the one hand though, over 99% recover so I can also see why economics have to come into play, when considering the impact on the wider "world" too many people could be at greater risk if economy suffer as much as is predicted.
On the other, people are gonna die as a result of this relaxation, a hark back to herd immunity here!
”Make sure you can breathe through it“ seems a bit superfluous but then the president did suggest injecting bleach so better safe than sorry I guess.
You can keep banging the drum that people are undermining or belittling this Government, Pete, but not everyone has an agenda.
There is space for legitimate criticism of some the decisions Government has made, or not made, considering the absolutely huge number of deaths.
There were 50 000 excess deaths in March and April only, with an estimated 10 000 in May.
60 000 individuals that have died, with a direct factor being what our Government has done or not done, and when it has done it.
On the flip side, there is space for praise for the Government. The furloughing, for example, has been a huge intervention that will sustain the livelihoods of tens of millions.
55,000 dead.Indeed, and I have stated that they screwed up their initial strategy. They had been on the back foot for a while, they screwed up the PPE and Testing. But then it started to come right. As you say they got the furlough right. But the problem is that those on here who criticise the government, really just mean Boris and a few Cabinet members, they forget that it included the CS, PHE and the NHS together with all the people actioned to get PPE and Testing in place. The government, and I mean in its widest sense, screwed up for a little while, but then improved, and continue to improve.....

Dont be 'kin ridiculous.
This implies the Government are now doing a good job. There is a lot of room for improvement.Indeed, and I have stated that they screwed up their initial strategy.
