I do indeed, but I was hoping more like August or late August for a return.....
I love how the right wing now see workers who have been furloughed through no fault of their own as he new ‘scroungers’.
With Dominic Cumming and Stanley Johnson both illegally travelling hundreds of miles to visit relatives at the weekend and facing no consequences, what will it take for any of the current shower in Government to be held accountable for anything?
Then again, if tens of thousands of needless deaths doesn't do it what will?
Where have you seen that ?.....
Didn't contract me you need to go online Gov uk and open a gateway account. They said anything about the self employed scheme being extended as well?
Based on the fact I havnt even been contacted yet, my confidence is low.
edit. Well thats not strictly true; they emailed me to say they will contact me. So ^^^^^ still.
Read my replies, Pete.Where have you seen that ?.....

I had a gateway account you just need put utr and ni number in tells you straight away if you qualify and what date to apply says you get it within six days.3 months payments March april and may.Well I was told they would contact me, but as I have had a Gateway for 10 years, they already have the data for me.
I welcome the governments prolonging of the furloughing scheme, especially as rumours were circulating about it being pushed down to 60% - meaning that those of us in private rented accommodation would have likely struggled to meet commitments.
I do feel like, for the first time, people are starting to realise that the government has mishandled this.
So you have welcomed the governments prolonging of the furlough scheme, then say they have mishandled it. No pleasing some folk.....

In my country (Lebanon, a 3rd World developing country with huge economical problems + 2 million refugees for small country, total population around 6 millions) we had our first confirmed case on February 21, February 29 we closed our schools/universities and banned gatherings, March 6 restaurants and pubs were closed, March 10 the first death with a total of 50 cases, March 15 we went into lock-down and closed our borders including the airport, on April 5 we started bringing in flights for Lebanese struck abroad, they all get tested at the airport and quarantined for 14 days, total cases 800 with 26 deaths, we had 20 deaths on April 10th, the past month we had 6 deaths, daily cases now are 2-3 locals and 20-30 from the travelers, our airport will remain closed (only bringing few flights per day for those who are stuck abroad with a strict policy of testing and quarantining), lock-down was removed 2 weeks ago, life is 70% back to normal.
