do you want a second lockdown?
That's inevitable isn't it? We're surely not labouring under the belief that this will be over any time soon? I suspect there will be another lockdown across Europe by late summer/early autumn.

It's a pity he, Johnson, Raab, Dorries, Vallance, Whitty, Cummings et al weren't more alert and followed their own advice and guidance; two meter social distancing rule, wash hands regularly, catch it, bin it, kill it etc..Then maybe they wouldn't have caught the virus. This next phase of their experiment - relax 'lockdown' and therefore let the virus rip through the population again to 'achieve' herd immunity is reckless as it was at the start of this.
"Yesterdays advice from dear leader was clearest yet. All hail Boris. We ask no questions and make no criticism because everything he say is correct and perfect."
That's not what newspapers are for.
It honestly wouldn’t have been. If we had an effective public health agency there is no reason why we should have had this lockdown, never mind a second one.
Once they decided to lock us down in March, they could have used these two months to set the initial part of one up and have it staffed, trained and ready to go now.

In times of National Crisis, and I cannot think of a better description of where we are at the moment, it would be useful if out media were to act in a responsible manner for the benefit of the country. Not to whip up hysteria or score political points and certainly not to undermine advice. If the media say they cannot understand what they are being told, then perhaps they should find out and attempt to help explain things, instead of continually whinging and moaning and glorifying in the demonstration of their own abject stupidity.....
@peteblue going in two footed on the younger generation there, you hate to see those sort of challenges.
CMO last night said not close to a vaccine, Hancock says today possibly by Autumn.
Very dangerous to give people false hope.

It really shouldn’t be.
If the spike goes up .....you haven't used your commonsense......One of the principles of shock and awe is to keep a population dazed and confused while you impose your will on them. This is what we're seeing. Confusion is one of the key weapons the tyrant government are using.
If they are it will be the first Covid virus vaccination ever to work........you can certainly can't take the cock out of Hancock!CMO last night said not close to a vaccine, Hancock says today possibly by Autumn.
