But it's not new as such. The message 6 weeks ago was to go to work if you cant at home. The problem is that you cant treat all jobs with a brush stroke and employers need to be consulted.

Of course many teachers have continued to work not just their normal hours but weekends, so essential workers can continue to operate.

I work in a leisure centre, he didn't make it very clear when they would be back open.

He also didn’t mention chippies, book shops, decorating shops, clothes shops, accountancies, etc etc etc ......in a five minute speech.......perhaps we just wait for the detail.....

Phoned home this evening to chat the lockdown.
On the Wirral, out of just over 600 clients, 190 now died in the care sector operated by step mums company.
Absolutely incredible numbers.. and clearly having an effect on those looking after them.
( all old with underlying conditions to be precise )

That is quite staggering and sad.....
