My wife had post-natal depression when our son was born and I’m accutely aware of the impact of lockdown on her mental health. She takes herself off for a drive in the countryside on occasions but never gets out of the car. I’m not necessarily comfortable with it in case she gets stopped but at the same time I accept that this situation is so much harder on her, especially since as a musician she can’t work.
I don't see the problem with getting in the car on your own or with a family member then going for a short drive to clear your head.
It is no risk to anybody and the only downside is a possible accident putting pressure on the NHS.

Looks like some of those chimps found that 1% and post on here lol
I suspect those amongst us who go to that big shed across the park only ever started with 98% based on some of the posts slowly popping up.

Anyway, I was reading this article in the Guardian and while I understand the sentiment I couldn't help wonder if there's some underlying reason for it.

It feels like an article that was sent to publish long before it was ready. Buffets and sharing platters etc. have long been a suspect of creating unhygienic food practices, but the reality really doesn't reflect that. If, as I think you may be suggesting, that perhaps looking at how contemporary dining environments might come a bit more under focus due to the observed link between BMI and mortality rates then that would be perhaps make a bit more sense. Did have a kebab last night which was the same amount of calories in one meal as I'd been eating on a daily basis which does show part of the issue.

Indeed the Stepford Tories... We are well and truly on Hillsborough Grenfell of shifting and ring fencing blame...

Actually also believe it's a case, Of how Johnson can spin this particular scenario to their advantages when flogging off the NHS to Trump in trade talks...
Already doing it in the teeth of a crisis: Tory spads setting up companies to do deals with US data gathering company Palantir to 'service' the NHS.

Cash from chaos.
