There's already enough of them on here lol
The justification just made me laugh.

‘it was really sunny so I *had* to invite them in.’
‘My hair was frizzy’.
‘There was a totally rad meteor shower’.

There are people making some really hard choices during this time yet these people can’t adhere to a simple set of rules that were put in place to save lives.

Yeah that's a concern of mine currently plus what @Toast said as well. My lads moving to senior school and of there was no school from now until then it's a massive jump. Also worry about care for the kids as my mother in law normally has the kids 2 days a week but she's over 70 and wouldn't want to put her at risk.

A lot of things to think about, things I worry about (which I'm sure we all do) but hopefully if we are putting one step in front of the other each day we will be getting closer to some kind of normality for not just ourselves, but our kids as well.
It's yet another damned if you do, damned if you don't decision for the government to have to make.

Whichever way they go with this a lot of people will be upset

Aren't Italy and Spain's relaxing of lockdown measures basically bringing them in line with where we have been for the past 6 weeks?

Correct

From tomorrow, we're able to exercise in groups of 3, that's our relaxation of the rules.

Shops can open with social distancing as of the 11th as well. I'm scanning the news for when 4 piece garage bands are allowed to rehearse again but they're curiously vague.

Spain yes but Italy are resuming manufacturing, construction and non essential retail.

We can also study Austria, Sweden and Germany to figure out the best way to reopen.

I wasn't actually referring to the BBC article. It was a jokey reply to LLs earlier mother hen comment but for some reason the post wasn't kinked.

As regards the BBC article I think some people are handling the lockdown better than others. My missus suffers from depression and really bad mood swings. On bad days, which imaybe 3 or 4 times a month, we go for a long walk, or sometimes a drive if her back is playing up. We don't drive far from the house, maybe 10 miles radius. It's all countryside and the country lanes are empty. We don't visit other people and we always practice social distancing.

We maybe do this a couple of times a month. I know what we are doing is considered non essential travel, but to us it is essential to my wife's well being, and as we are not risking either ourselves or others I'm of the view that our actions are justified. I'm succinctly aware there will be many on here who'll disagree with me. I know our local police would as they've issued more lockdown fines than any other force

I'd be asking Matt, 29, if he or any member of his family usually carried a telescope with them when exercising. I can suspect what his answer would be.

I can understand the appeal to see the meteor shower and you could argue that it was late as some for of mitigation, but compliance is compliance.

More and more people are not following the rules, so hopefully it doesn't cause a rise in the infection rate further down the line.

Shows you how well prepared the German's were: Bayer Leverkusen had their own Pandemic Doctor in place 4 years ago.

One of their football clubs was better organised than our government.

You see, I think that is essential. I believe that’s a valid reason as it’s to manager mental health.
Getting a hair cut and going to see a meteor shower is not.
managing mental health is important. this isn’t that. It’s entitlement.

Low self esteem from long frizzy hair
Mental health is it not?

Compliance is compliance. But non compliance comes in many different forms with varying risk factors. People in general are often too quick to judge others when employing zero tolerance
