Exactly. It says gyms open on the 10th August. That's 14 weeks away. How do you think that will affect peoples frame of mind?

I think a time frame with some sort of date helps. Even a far away date. At least theres a bit of light.

I was going to gym about 4 times a week prior to this. Now i go out a run about 4 times a week and do a few weights at home. To be honest I'm enjoying it more out running than i did in the gym. Obviously if it was the middle of January I maybe wouldnt say that, but getting out in the fresh air definitely helps clear my head.

That's defo one of the positives- I see lot more non typical gym type people out jogging or working out in the park. The free time/boredom can work for some.

Don't get me wrong there's other ways to keep fit, I'm looking at small gym owners, self employed trainers, competitors, sports nutrition companies, the social interaction inside the gym, I think it will hurt a lot of people

Merseyside has the best tap drinking water too. It's nowhere near as nice down here in Cornwall and we've started buying bottled water lately. Only use it for drinking cordial mind. We don't go through bottles of the stuff every week.
Water in the NW is quality but having been away for many years now I do find it weird being back in the NW when washing hands and getting rid of the soap takes an age. Harder water has some advantages.

I see the Irish rules would only allow sports leagues to restart on 20 july at the earliest.

If UK say similar then the PL will finally have to accept reality.
They could still technically do it in a month or less and just start next season abit later and finish late May or June next year.
