One the one hand I think that even their most hard critics must acknowledge that the govt has done remarkably well to not only meet but surpass their testing promise. There is still more we can do, but no one can say we're not addressing the issue now.

On the other hand to still be polling 700+ daily deaths is seriously demoralizing. I suspect that the UK population in particular has been more vulnerable than most others as we combine a lot of social factors with an unhealthy population in general, and unfortunately that combination is proving to exact a high cost now.

second that.5 girls here aged 7,9,10,13,18 all will be okay then it only takes 1 to spit her dummy over something and it has a knock on effect where they all end up bickering and shouting. muuummm tell her or. she said this she said that.my wife has patience of a saint takes it in her stride and deals with it she should be a un peacekeeper. my brain feels like a small bomb has gone off in there at times and she just goes on wit whatever she was doing.

You are a saint amongst men for being able to cope with this. I struggle to deal with our two girls (12 and 15) and the wife with their bathroom routines.

3 bathrooms 5 bedrooms its normally not too bad during normal times . but just small things are magnified at times all stuck in during this lockdown. home schooling trying to keep them active keep their brains active.stop their mouths becoming active is the hard bit at the minute i'm seriously thinking about buying a camper van or building a soundproofed she'd .my son 21 works for network rail and is working in wales until later in the year so only home from work on a Saturday morning and stays until Monday morning brings his washing and some much needed male company.

Get the older kids to teach the younger kids. Keeps them all busy and you can put your feet up.....

Taking questions from journalists every day is the opposite of North Korea.

Theres no country in the world where the opposition parties lead the coronavirus press conferences. Dont be silly.
Taking questions and answering them truthfully if at all are different matters.

The whole government approach has been to cover their mistakes and fool people with dishonesty.

Interesting to read that. It's pretty detailed.

I'd be surprised if the one the government produce next week isn't broadly similar because I cant see the UK and Ireland going about things that differently.

Exactly. It says gyms open on the 10th August. That's 14 weeks away. How do you think that will affect peoples frame of mind?
