Exactly. It says gyms open on the 10th August. That's 14 weeks away. How do you think that will affect peoples frame of mind?
Same as pubs

Those number of daily deaths figures just dont seem to be lowering.
Looking at that I don't think pubs will be open til after stage 5. Closer to Xmas maybe. Notice it says large social gatherings to be restricted. I mean a busy pub is a large social gathering on paper. Shame that, I'm dying for a pintSame as pubs

You'll find this initial lockdown has sunk many local and independent businesses already. The longer it goes on the more that sink. Corporations will benefit the most from all of this.I heard to today via a local shopkeeper that the little corner pub by me, where all the old fellas and day time drinkers go, won’t be opening up again, as even with the deferred rent payments they‘ve lost too much already to ever be a going concern again.
It’s a life line for the old boys that drink in there and I’ve no idea what they will do if it goes![]()
Soon mate! All I want to do is give my dad a hug and go for a pint/meal
Arsed about anything else
they do and do a good job at it. most of the time normally until one of the younger ones have had enough gets stroppy.Get the older kids to teach the younger kids. Keeps them all busy and you can put your feet up.....
I suspect ‘large social gatherings’ might be closer to a footy match than a pub tbh.Looking at that I don't think pubs will be open til after stage 5. Closer to Xmas maybe. It said weddings mate if you read it there, that's why I'm thinking that. Most weddings are 200 or less. Some bars can hold more than that and even small bars can hold about 200I suspect ‘large social gatherings’ might be closer to a footy match than a pub tbh.
So they start playing in July, finish nine sets of games, plus the FA Cup in a month, then go straight into the 2020/21 season, then onto the Euros, and start the following season early, play the World Cup over Christmas, then see the players collaps from exhaustion. They could still technically do it in a month or less and just start next season a bit later and finish late May or June next year.
Just like the 19,000 new nurses they were prattling on about during the election. Even being called out on it did nothing .![]()
Government counts mailouts to hit 100,000 testing target
The government changed the way it counts the number of covid-19 tests in order to hit its target of 100,000 tests per day by the end of April, HSJ can reveal.www.hsj.co.uk
Having read this I’ve changed my mind.
The ‘we haven’t changed our methods’ is actually ‘we’ve just added new ways if counting’.
Its lies.
And the fact that people accept lies as expected is the scariest thing ever.
It’s a disgrace tbh.
