He is a massive waste of space, but it's not as if Hancock went on his laptop and ordered them himself.

He didn't actually. That group was setup in April 2018. Hancock became health minister in July 2018.

I think the data isn't particularly helpful. Having spoken to a few of the people collating and reporting the stats, they've suggested that their data doesn't correlate with a higher death rate for BAME individuals. Similarly information reported through the Local Resilience Forum systems says the same, albeit they won't necessarily have national oversight. It may just be in the areas I cover, which would be predominantly white British demographic, but I think once the full range of data is presented, you'll probably see that disparity narrow quite significantly to probably only a few percentage.

Totally agree. This is what people don't seem to be realising. A guy on the radio said the other day 'man parachutes out of plane without a parachute. Dies from Corona virus.' people who are dying with Corona virus are being included in the Corona deaths. Obviously it's terrible arguing the toss over deaths, but dying from and dying with are not the same..

Sure, the origin, when absolutely determined, will affect international relations and trade, possibly even reparations, and is important in understanding for future prevention. But none of that changes our response strategy in the here and now.

Those saying - “see I told you it was from that lab” when there was no evidence of that whatsoever, and they just ‘had a feeling’ that it was ‘all a bit suspect’, is akin to me claiming I knew that a dice would land on a six before I threw it.

Why? They need to be held to account! They lied, covered it up and have since attacked any nation daring to question them on it.

A workman is only as good as his tools as they say.

However Hancock has shown himself to be seriously out of his depth in handling this and there is an argument that he should be replaced. Obviously you wouldn't normally take such action in the middle of a crisis but we're still early doors in this and he just isn't up to the task.
