Perfect Germany...
Is this really right?
20,000 tests (I know, that's an estimation)
If there is a government supposedly in charge of our country I will hold them to account.I didn't vote Tory and never have.
But stop with the rhetoric that people who did vote for them are all at fault for this.
If you haven't noticed, the left's tendency to hate and aim to shame has not achieved anything - whether it's in terms of Labour getting in, or Brexit, or whatever else.
Hardly any government in the world - regardless of political leaning - has handled this well.
Doesn't excuse our crap response, not one bit, but fed up of this obsession with blaming Joe Public. It's not worked, for the last 10 years, so stop it and come up with a better argument.
Singapore is appearing to be the poster child for that unfortunatelyStarting to dawn on me now that this thing is a marathon not a sprint, like a football season. Some countries have had good starts in their handling but still plenty of room to fuk things up beyond the start.

Apparently they have a lot of foreign guest-workers living in cramped dormitories. What has happened there LL?
Yeah it seems so. Hopefully other countries can learn from it. Seems like aggressive contact tracing is one of the key aspects to controlling it, but it doesn't seem like many countries are doing it.Singapore is appearing to be the poster child for that unfortunately
I'm not certain but does anyone know if we’ve followed the science ?
I think we have. Like, we have had this lock down and social distancing and stuff, which seems to be working. Today its all about testing and tracing via apps and all sorts. To prevent a second wave. So maybe, that was the science and the plan.
Until this all washes through, I thinks its way too soon to say Country A and B got it "right" yet.
I do think you can say some got it very wrong thoughI think we have. Like, we have had this lock down and social distancing and stuff, which seems to be working. Today its all about testing and tracing via apps and all sorts. To prevent a second wave. So maybe, that was the science and the plan.

Still early, and other studies may come out with different/better results, but this isn’t too encouraging unfortunatelyThere's still hope for Remdesivir
Thanks mate .
to be totally honest my original post was a tad sarcastic as they repeat it like an absolute mantra , I’d be worried if I was a scientist because if anything is judged a misstep they’re going right under that bus .
