Well the mantra has been consistent for weeks and weeks. Which I guess is better than flip flopping all over the shop. I got the impression today that the scientists seemed comfortable that their plan, (if it was a plan), seems to be playing out.

only listening today not watching so harder for judge for me . I’d rather they were consistent even if I’m unconvinced

If you smoke, and are damaging your lungs, then if this virus really is a respiratory disease, then there is no chance you are in a better shape to fight it off than if you do not smoke.

So, the only other solution is that we're not being told what this virus actually is.

Exactly why the difference is striking. You’d expect higher rates in smokers.

Creates the hypothesis that nicotine has a protective effect against the virus which is why they are studying nicotine patches and not actually having people smoke.

Should be sending swab tests out to every property one for each person named on electoral/ school roll.

I would normally never abuse a poster and I defend posters against abuse. But you react to a perfectly reasonable post by telling us that you are going to ‘hold us to account’. It doesn’t get much more abusive or nasty than that.....
