Not to mention how doctors are free to mark the death down as corona, even if it's not, and the CDC won't follow up. The statistics will not be perfect.

Mate rant all you want, but let's not question the morals and ethical standards of physicians as if they willy-nilly pick a cause of death that suits them.

There is a standard procedure by which deaths are attributed. How they are currently classifying deaths is the exact same standard they always use. They do the same thing with flu.

Well you could look at daily cases in every country that has locked down effectively before and after the lockdown and compare to countries that haven't implemented it well.



Maybe they've gotten away with it because they haven't overreacted like every other EU nation.

yeah mate I’ve just gone through the booking process I’m not making it up ,you can book . Fair enough if I’m wrong but people are flying around the world at the minute. a minute number compared to the previous numbers but still flying nevertheless

The average number of passengers per plane is 20 mate. Like you say, minute. Folk are still driving, going on buses and trains. But nowt compared to normal.

But some bang on like we are welcoming 1000's willy nilly.

Im not suggesting that but the numbers are approximately 15,000 per day arriving in the uk . They aren’t made up numbers they’re the actual numbers . I’m an internationalist not some crazy EDL type or even a Brexiter but given we’re in lockdown and movement of this counties citizens is restricted it seems to me a little bit mind blowing that approximately half a million people a month are entering the country a month without restriction or any form of health check unlike much of the rest of the world . I’m not suggesting there isn’t movement within those figures and some won’t be the same people but I think it feels a bit bizarre. Maybe it’s just me .

I don't think you're following this. lol I even told you to work on the assumption that there have been nearly no deaths from flu. Even if there were not, and you tripled the death toll from coronavirus, you'd end up with them being around the same absolute value. And I'm saying, that is not worthy of the reaction the country has made.

And for the record, 'because that is absolutely what you were insinuating'... not it absolutely wasn't what i was insinuating. lol lol lol

Yesterday across all news outlets on the TV, they said that the UK death rate has doubled in the last month, usually this time of year statistically you'd see 10,000 deaths a month, we've seen 20,000+ in the last month, and I think it's much higher than 20k too.

To say there is an over reaction to Covid is lunacy, it's an absolute monster virus, and it's only just getting started, only been 6 weeks out of China.

Compare it to it's brother SARS, who killed less than 800 and infected 8000 worldwide, there is something not right about Covid, the speed and range of it's infection in so little time is unprecedented, it's like it's been designed to spread by man, it's a 95% brother to SARS but they are worlds a part in capacity to cause death.

Its nearly all repats mate. I know you can book a flight from Dubai, but why would anyone want or need to come here? There is more cargo than passengers on the passenger airlines.

So as the number of folk abroad goes down as they get home, assuming we are still in lock down, the numbers arriving will go down.

But 15000 a day makes a headline. 20 passengers per flight less so. And JVT explained why there is little point testing.

But on testing, BA ensure their pilots and crew are tested before, during, and after they fly.

But Sweden has not got away with it. There are great concerns about the way the sickness is developing there.

again though . Ok I’ve got a mate an ex colleague who is in Oz and involved in their response to this . I’m not a fan on a lot of Australian immigration policy but they’ve absolutely locked down on so many levels.

I appreciate your point but I can’t help but feel there is a reason most counties are doing A and we’re going B . Most countries lockdown early , we don’t . Most counties begin large scale testing then test & trace we don’t . Most countries suggest , encourage , demand face masks , we don’t . Most countries restrict travel or test on entry we don’t. Listen I’m clueless but it seems we’re gonna have figures second only to the USA (who knows about China ) and we are ploughing our own furrow , maybe the two facts are linked .

Fly into Israel you taken by the army into quarantine..

Fly into Israel on a one way ticket, paid in cash, pretty good chance you would be met by the army....if you got on the plane in the first place.
