On the testing, he said its pretty much a waste of time. On the numbers, no idea how many, but every passenger flight is a repatriation one. My Brother in Law is on his way to India today to do one for BA.

I’m pretty much certain that’s not the case that they’re all repatriation flights . Just checked you can for example fly from Dubai to Heathrow tomorrow for £550

Well, for one, if the hospital they work in is under particularly heavy strain, and the patient showed symptoms that could be construed as being coronavirus - even if it's not a virus, or if it's just a cold - then they might mark it down as coronavirus-related death thus prioritised that diagnosis over a more accurate one.

Is there any evidence of patients being treated in hospitals for Corona without being tested to make sure that they're being treated for the right thing?

Something isn’t right though is it. My wife and I seem to have had flu/cold/runny noses/sore throat or whatever since December. I wish to God I knew what the hell Is going on, but this is the worst year I’ve seen..... I know the constantly snotty nosed kid during the winter is the stereotype...

The point I was making is that the number wasn't even at the level of influenze at that point. Even comparing the current numbers, it does not justify a indiscriminate, nationwide lockdown.
