No you can answer your assumption, do you think in the last 12 days (days you deliberately missed off from your data) there have been three times as many deaths from influenza as there have been from COVID 19? because that is absolutely what you were insinuating, and if you move the goalposts around again I'm just going to get bored and ignore you

Even if there were not, and you tripled the death toll from coronavirus, you'd end up with them being around the same absolute value. And I'm saying, that is not worthy of the reaction the country has made.

There is an assumption everyone is equal, perhaps an unconscious bias, however, I'm not convinced it is. Indeed, even to afford discount frozen food requires significant outlay and set of circumstances to allow frozen food to be stored at home, which all contribute to a significant increase in cost.

Im a bit bored of the subject now to be honest. I think it was shown you can eat healthily on a budget whether it’s frozen or not.

Going purely from the absolute numbers, it's not even the same as the flu right now. The flu has killed 3x more people than coronavirus this year, and the government has put us in lockdown. 11 people under the age of 45 have died of coronavirus. Just 11. And most if not all of those had preexisting conditions.

Like I've already said, I reckon history will look back and wonder why we reacted so bizarrely. I'm almost certain of it.

Uh, what? That makes no sense.

The idea of the lockdown is to slow the spread allowing the health service to treat a managable number of cases instead of the entire contagion happening in a shorter timeframe. It is not to eliminate the spread, that is impossible.

Well you could look at daily cases in every country that has locked down effectively before and after the lockdown and compare to countries that haven't implemented it well.

Or you could just take it as read that every eminent epidemiologist in the world knows more than you.
