It's the top story in the live feed.

Kuensberg yes there's no excuse for, but she's a dreadful journalist who ignores the absolutely basic rule of having two independent sources before reporting a story.

The top story in the live feed is Gove saying it’s too early to lift restrictions. Are you just being deliberately argumentative... again . All the tories are Sunderland fans you know

No genuinely serious in here but now you've flagged this we must CRUSH

Family opposite me, Mum and two teenagers. Mum and Dad are separated, so Dad lives elsewhere. He turned up yesterday afternoon and took one of the teenagers out for a driving lesson, gone about an hour. Came back and he then drove away. Is this acceptable? Should we be reporting incidents like this? Hoping the experts on here can advise.
Oh
My
Lord

This deserves a ban haha

That is the trap Labour Leaders are in though; say the Government isn’t handling something right (eg: Salisbury) and they get criticised for being traitors no matter how bad the Government is handling something; say things that the media just ignore as they are now (like Rosena Allin-Khan questioning why our quarantine is 7 days whilst the WHO recommends 14) and they “aren’t an effective opposition“ apparently because the media don’t pick them up.

Morgan might be saying things that sound decent but he was banging the Trump drum for years. People aren’t agreeing with him so much as he is agreeing with them, probably out of self-protection reasons.

Quite agree that Labour have a tightrope to walk regarding perception during these difficult times and it should be expected that due to the Right Wing ownership of 90% of the printed media in the UK they are never going to get a fair crack of the whip. I thought Labour had a distinct lead over the Cons with regard to digital media and had expected to see articles on utube or my phone which in honesty I'm not. If the media are not picking them up then Labour need to come out and say as much and campaign for some of the various media outlets to be broken up and sold, possibly under competition laws, but I'm definitely no lawyer.

We are gripped by the largest catastrophe since WW2 and yet we haven't seen hide nor hair of the PM publicly since Freezergate and how long ago was that. Too long for a British PM. I understand he has been ill, but so have literally millions of other people, he wasn't ventilated and was in and out in days, what is he doing now. Would it be unpatriotic to ask where the leader of your country is while thousands die. Strangely nobody has asked Where is Boris? yet.
Can you imagine if Macron, Merkel or Trump disappeared totally for ages, yet somehow Johnson gets a free pass.

#Where is Boris??????

I see that Sweden are still running at 10% of U.K. deaths. It has been uncanny how in step their numbers have been with the U.K., yet two different approaches.....I see they are also claiming that they will achieve herd immunity in May.....

Nothing on the BBC about it, absolutely nothing about the governments catastrophic handling of a huge crisis.
Be tucked away somewhere, where the more casual viewer will miss, however, they will justify this as balance... You won't get a robust critique of Government from the BBC on their headline shows at times like this. John Humphreys is on record last weekend stating BBC presenters have been ordered to go easy on Government Ministers...

Not comparing like with like. Sweden has a small and well dispersed population. UK has a large population of high density.
Also there are reports of unease among the older generation people there.

The enquiry will just prove that we don’t have an effective opposition party within the U.K.....

So are you saying that if we have an inquiry, and it highlights mistakes made by the government, then that only proves the ineffectiveness of the opposition?

Congratulations, you have a perfectly insular argument which fails to hold the accountable, accountable.
