Their refusal to move away from the party script doesn't help and invites interruption, if they spoke honestly and as an individual I genuinely think in a time of crisis they would be given more patience at least from the public

It's every guest of every party, no matter what their opinion. It's not achieving anything. I wanted to watch because it was the health minister but it was a waste of time.

The wearing of face masks: I watched Peston last night and it's absolutely clear that face masks, according to experts around the world, are a major part of the armoury to get on top of this virus. Our government's position is bankrupt. It came through loud and clear in Peston's show, in a heated interview with HanCOCK, that the position he was arguing from was one of resources: that securing enough would be a problem. Theyjust dont want 'face maks' under provision to be aded to the catalogue of failure concerning PPE, testing kits, ventilators.

Well it relies on everyone to wear them in public but as @roydo has rightly pointed out it doesn't keep anyone safe.

So EVERYBODY has to wear them for them to be affective. Even in perfect Germany they aren't introducing that as mandatory. And it'd mean wearing them for ages - like the next year.

The point which has to be stressed with the masks is if one person out of four is wearing one, it makes no difference. None, unless they have the virus in which case the risk of them spreading it by breathing is reduced.

If all four people wear one, then that's when they become useful, as it is reducing the spread en masse.

In Germany it's advised for shops and public transport...which is to say if you're out and about that means keeping them on from home to destination back to home.

Everybody should wear one. If the advice came from government, we all would.

As said, we're not getting that advice - advice being issued across many/most western societies now - because these butchers are still carrying on their eugenics via the back door. They never gave up on that herd immunity strategy. The utter scum.

Well I don't know. While I agree with the point about why are they asking where are they going, think about what this virus has turned you into mate if this is now your reaction. That someone's a weirdo asking for directions.

three weeks ago you wouldn't have thought such a thing.

So, let's say when the lockdown measures are lifted, are you going to just go back to normal or are you going to still be wary of people? It'll be the latter, won't it?

Like on Tuesday I was on my bike ride. I had a good idea of where I was going but wasn't 100% sure where this path led out. I had to wait for this couple walking their dog to come through the gate and they were a good 5m away from me, at least. Since they'd just come off the path I asked them if it led out to a certain village (it did in the end, my sense of direction is pretty good) - they looked at me and then just rather rudely turned around.

I hadn't approached them. I hadn't gone up to them and got in their space. Yet they still reacted that way.

Fear, mate. You can't live in fear and let fear control you. You can be wary and cautious and follow the government guidelines etc without letting the panic/instinct part of your brain take over. Not saying you did in this case and I agree it's weird for someone to come right up to you, but really, have they done anything wrong?

Yeah you've got a point I was probably overreacting a little bit. Shouldn't have got on the old high horse so much, you never know when you might unexpectedly need help I guess. But still. If I felt the need to approach a stranger for something at this time, I would fully expect to get the reaction you got from that couple. And she wasn't 5m away from me. Barely 1.5-2. I backed away a bit myself lol

Experts in genocide.
