I agree but I do think we need another 3 weeks of this and it will be worth it in the long run. The death toll is still horrendous.
Hopefully in 3 weeks the deaths will be far lower and we'll be ready to start taking gradual steps to relax things.

I just think we’re in a catch-22 situation and I certainly don’t envy the people who will make the decision because either/or will cause death via the virus or poverty.

I'm no longer being shocked by these reports sadly. A few weeks ago there was a BBC news report on a care home in Spain where the residents had been abandoned. If restaurants are to open, I'd imagine it's a take away service to start with? I think schools will be one of the first followed by barber shops, hairdressers and then hopefully get the gyms open.
