So the lockdown is to be extended by three weeks if reports are to be believed. Every day this lockdown continues is killing this country. If people aren’t working and then out there spending money, where does the money come from to fund public services via the government?

We need an exit strategy and we need it fast.

He just shouts at every political guest he has on. It's tedious.

I sometimes agree with his opinions but he gives people no chance to speak.
He just does anything that he knows will get himself trending on Twitter because he is an enormous, egotistical gobshite.

The fella hacked a dead girl’s phone but we’re now meant to believe he cares about the common good? Absolute rubbish. It’s all for the attention.

No time limits
This where a level of judgement and common sense should be applied to ask what’s reasonable exercise compared to the potential risks?

Could I use your argument that I want to cycle to Moel Famau (43mi), walk up it and then cycle back? I’d personally that would be far from reasonable.

I turned off.

I saw it was Hancock and wanted to listen but gave up after about 90 seconds of pointless shouting.
I thought he was about to nail him, could have let him dig his own grave. And then hit him with the evidence against.
He just kept firing questions.

No words for Hancock though, what the tories have got away with in the last month is essientially murder.

The job retention scheme goes live this month which will help. The 80% will hopefully keep most people in work.

But it's all going to have to be covered by borrowing and we will pay for it for the next 30 or 40 years. I'm not sure we're ready for an exit strategy although they obviously have to plan for it.

If they announce today that we'll be relaxing things in 3 weeks then lots of people could start to be far more lax in obeying the rules. If we relax tings too early then we'll be forced to reintroduce measures and that's the worst outcome imo.

Brucie... on my ride yesterday.. a copper stopped me. Asked me why i was out. Said my 1 exercise.. he asked me how far i was going and i said about 40km roughly 2.5 hours. his response?

"Good luck & enjoy... it's hot"

But yeah... i should take my advice from an Everton forum over the police.

There aren't any hard and fast rules, so the police appear largely to be applying the guidance at their discretion.

We really need working antibody tests so they can start serological testing. They need to get tests out to a random sample of the population and test for antibodies to get an idea what percentage of the population have been infected. If they have a rough idea they can manage lifting lockdown restrictions a lot better.
There needs to be a really good demographic and geographic sample as I suspect Cities have been hit much harder than rural areas.

There needs to be at least 2/3 million tests taken.

The government are already saying that they can’t help every business and household, so people are going to suffer badly if this continues, furlough or not.

The longer we’re in lockdown, the more people will flout the rules anyway. You can only ask healthy, young people to stay indoors for so long.
