Imagine the outcry if that happened here lol

We're peaking.
That isn't just down to a lack of testing - there 100% needs to be more than that. A lack of testing also means there's loads of cases we don't know about but deaths ARE being counted if they tested positive at all (and people in hospital – the vast majority of people sadly dying from this have died in hopsital – are being tested).
But the UK is entering the peak and that is in line with the rest of Europe. Just have to keep these measures in place until we start to see a decline and then obviously a bit beyond that too to ensure we ensure the NHS can handle a second wave.

Is it a bike factory?335,000 sq foot.
Wasn't having a go mate.Just hadn't seen that info. The latest gov figures but also the Financial Times graphs which have been published every day for the last few weeks.
The UK look to be entering their peak in terms of numbers of confirmed cases and deaths - as in it's starting to flatten out cumulatively over the case of 4-5 days. It needs to be sustained but after 3 weeks of lockdown countries have started to see these same results. Basically, we're on track with those countries such as France, Italy and Spain in terms of when they peaked.
It's not good in terms of the numbers but it is a positive that we're starting to see a bit of a consistent flattening out over a period of days.

Today’s update of those FT graphs is also encouraging from a trend point of view although obviously horrific in the number of lives still being lost.Wasn't having a go mate.Just hadn't seen that info.
I'm in Greece with a fraction of deaths and cases compared to you.Over here we ain't letting anything happen until at least 15th of May.Oh I know mate, just wanted to answer you fully! I know there's obviously - and probably rightfully - a lot of doubt over the UK gov's figures but if other sources are starting to indicate a flattening then it shows it's starting to work.
Do you mean that the hospital is empty or some beds are not occupied? There has been such little information on what is happening there.Coronavirus: Empty beds at Britain’s first Nightingale hospital. Good news maybe
Asymptotic carrier rate is difficult to know for sure but recent data seems to indicate it is quite high. This is what gets me.Last week someone was saying 'Only wear a mask if you have symptoms ' and it dosen't make a difference for others as it stops 'said person' passing it on.Surely we should all be wearing them anyway.
