Makes me think we will all get it at some point then - bloody hard going through life never speaking to people outside your household!
Have a Skype/video call with a mate and have a few beers together. That's what I do.Did it last week for me Ma's birthday. All sat down had a meal at the same time and chatted whilst still seeing each other.

RE Michigan: Just getting rid of Trump will yes help but the real work is marginalizing his loathesome base.

We're peaking.

That isn't just down to a lack of testing - there 100% needs to be more than that. A lack of testing also means there's loads of cases we don't know about but deaths ARE being counted if they tested positive at all (and people in hospital – the vast majority of people sadly dying from this have died in hopsital – are being tested).

But the UK is entering the peak and that is in line with the rest of Europe. Just have to keep these measures in place until we start to see a decline and then obviously a bit beyond that too to ensure we ensure the NHS can handle a second wave.

What do you mean peaking and where are you getting this info from ?

The latest gov figures but also the Financial Times graphs which have been published every day for the last few weeks.

The UK look to be entering their peak in terms of numbers of confirmed cases and deaths - as in it's starting to flatten out cumulatively over the case of 4-5 days. It needs to be sustained but after 3 weeks of lockdown countries have started to see these same results. Basically, we're on track with those countries such as France, Italy and Spain in terms of when they peaked.

It's not good in terms of the numbers but it is a positive that we're starting to see a bit of a consistent flattening out over a period of days.
