It's from the Royal College of Physicians Grouch.

I particularly like the pertinent 'newly released' guidelines of PPE use as from 2nd April, but of course they did not rework these guidelines in light of current shortages, oh no...;)

I don't know Bruce, but I don't think anything he said in the post you responded to was 'Tory'.

Just a matter of simple critique. However, it's a case of wanting to in the first instance. Often the way with Tories it's not what is said it's what is left out.

If you look back th main Butchers were Cameron, Osborne. and Clegg, and Vince Cable-our NHS stood still - NHS ring fenced social care butchered etc where are they now ? Camron Boris my best mate = they despise one another... 9 jobs Gideon Osborne I'm alright Jack.....Clegg working on Facebook - even when Labour get in next they will not be able to undo this mess overnight...... as @Bruce Wayne stated the evaluation of this pandemic should be sorted once we beat it - that's a long way down the line imo sadly.........politically it goes back to the era of austerity imo - any new government would be struggling to cope with those ideology ways of CUTS, and the people who have flew the nest.....
Not really mate, they could have taxed the rich until the pips squeaked and who were probably more culpable for the banking crisis, but decided to clobber the disabled and mentally ill instead. Probably because this section of society were never going to vote Conservative and were an easy target.

Yes and the oldest 102! There’s no pattern to this f’kin thing. I think we can forget about the underlying health issue theory!

you say that but the stats are that still age , obesity , underlying health issues and possibly even ethnicity are factors . It seems impossible To me to argue age isn’t a factor when you read the stats .

Yes you’re obviously a little weaker when your older but it’s still taking people in their teens 20s 30s 40s etc...

There is certainly evidence to support this. Younger people dying of the disease will be a rarer, if horrific, occurrence.

The ethnicity theory is interesting. I had initially assumed because it is likely to be correlated with poverty, but obviously there are wealthy BAME persons dying as well.

It's the payload of Thatcherism. Forty years of draining the NHS and social welfare; forty years of people being atomised and viewing themselves as 'individuals' and being encouraged to dispute (or at least debate) there's such a thing as a society. It's also the payload of the idiocy of fake news and doubting the validity of science to explain things and guide our actions.

Not really, he discusses understaffing, death rates and how Conservative policy has crippled the NHS.
Lets see him harrrumph, bluster and joke his way out of this one, joviality aint gonna cut it this time. I'd like him, Hancock and to some degree unt(insert apprpriate letter of your choice) to apologise to the families of the dead for their mismanagement, corruption and malfeasance in their eagerness to sell off the NHS to equally corrupt American corporations.

Lets see how the American model of medical care copes with the pandemic and thank our lucky stars that it hasn't happened here............YET.

Germany has an insurance-based system and they're doing quite well. Please don't try and use this situation to score political points.
