I think if it was all smoke and mirrors mate then I would have put our house on it that there would have been a queue of whistle - blowers stepping up.
I think there's some confusion here about what's being claimed.

I'm not saying he wasn't ill; I'm saying whatever symptoms he has had have been spun. What we know is that he has never displayed signs of pneumonia, and never needing a ventilator.

His symptoms will be repeated up and down the country amongst hundreds of thousands and he got treatment (what was it, 6/7 days into his self isolation period?) that the vast majority wont get and they'll get better from it.

Politically this has been used to get Johnson out the way and off the hook.

From Who? People on an Everton forum? 72% of this country think the Government has reacted well to the Pandemic according to YOUGOV.

That's the result of getting off the hook.

But please, dont quote YouGov at me. They are bent as a nine bob note.

But still far more indicative then the Current Affairs forum on here.

Whether you like it or not... People do believe the Government has reacted well. They have bailed out the private sector, issued a far more progressive lockdown than other countries and still aloud freedoms.

How would you have dealt with it?

Look mate, people in a crisis are [Poor language removed] scared. They are DESPERATE to believe they are being led well.

Unfortunately, we are not. And the evidence on that mounts every day.

He was 10 days in and his symptoms hadnt subsided, he could not reduce his temperature and he was short of breath, as per protocol he was told he needed to undertake further tests, further tests showed he wasnt improving therefore he was admitted to ICU. As leader of the Countey, whatever your opinion of him, it was within guidelines to "treat" him!

Yes he may have "jumped" a queue but what would you expect, a whole fleet of Dr and Nurses to decamp to Downing Street with a truckload of medical equipment and effectively take them out of the loop in caring for other individuals and therefore risk continued service and care? As it seems this us what you are advocating?

In all honesty fella, your judgement is seriously clouded when it comes to Boris!

NO leader has dealt with this before and as some have said, the time is for unity and concerted effort, if, after all this does end there is a time for reprisal etc I'm sure your ballot box will benefit from your vote in seeing him out the door but for now, you are a divisive antagonist who seems to thrive on WUM posts!

We know he’s been ill, but we don’t know how seriously.

Their claims that he is sat up come from the same sources as said he was fine two hours before he went into intensive care so shouldn’t be accepted as fact.

You should maybe reference the actual question asked. YouGov have a tendency to frame outcomes that suit their partisan objectives.

Mate don't know whether you agree or not, but this government has made mistakes, at the start of this pandemic, in my opinion, Boris himself, with the seemingly light hearted, wash your hands and sing happy birthday twice, theme, also locking down, more quickly, like other Countries. Also we have left our Doctors, Nurses, healthcare staff criminally short of the PPE, to protect them whilst doing their job. 72%, to me means nothing.

This country will extend its lockdown while others in Europe will ease theirs.

That's entirely down to Johnson and his [Poor language removed] ups. A scam artist hiding away to avoid criticism for it.

No, you said he was hiding on a hospital ICU ward to avoid being criticised.

Which would require the collision at the highest echelons of the Police, the medical service and Parliament.

lol
