But that’s not what many people, including myself, are actually advocating or suggesting. There has to be a balance of support and justified questions/criticism.
My point is that I personally feel that we should be focusing on what they are doing now in preparation for the future - that's where our questions should be aimed.
In fact, many of your own concerns are my own, but I don't feel that it is currently right to be too focused or concerned about what's happened in the past.
How prepared we were a few weeks ago etc. or the state of NHS funding over the past few years really aren't the relevant questions to be asking right now.
How prepared we are now, what the funding is now and what equipment we've got now and in the future, including testing, is where our concerns should lie.
When it's all over, there'll be ample time to ask all the questions and vent about how prepared we were, and I think the evidence itself will be quite telling.
I'm not a supporter of Boris in the slightest, but I'd rather him and his cabinet were given the support to guide us through this, with a fair level of questioning.
After this, I think the public will do their talking with their votes.
Come someone trustworthy just check outside the front door and tell me we're not actually living in an Ealing comedy? Going by this thread this morning I'm not sure any more.

how much longer have we got? Looks like Europe will start re opening next week and italy and Spain start of May.
On that basis we should be starting to see business opening again Mid to late May here.

You've got time for a quick century around the block. All the police are pretending Johnson is in hospital so you might just get away with.
I'd get away with it anyway.. i have a permit for travel in & out of work

It's genius really. Next time I'm asked to do some hoovering, I might pop over to ICU and hide out for a bit.
Have you seen what's going on in Critical Care lately - Hospital is the last destination the public want to go - God willing..... they wont need too....Nah, they will start easing restrictions after 26th April. It's coming up to tourist season.
Plus, i know 2 people who work in Hospitals and they can't believe how quiet it actually is at the minute. I know some hospitals are swamped but others are nowhere near capacity. And since the lockdown is all about the NHS capacity I wouldn't be surprised if our's is shorter than Spain, Italy's and France
I was due to work a contract in Spain this month and the updates I'm getting from local contractors and government official is that there is a parlliamentry session today to discuss the continued stopping of all non-essential activities and labours, and they haven't heard anything about these things starting up againNah, they will start easing restrictions after 26th April.
