This goes beyond politics - it is looking more like gross dereliction of executive duty.

Fully expected from Johnson and Cummings. Indeed, it's shameful that Whitty and cronies have allowed themselves to be politicised. They can't be that niave to the process of politics, certainly not in the 21 century. Either they subscribe to ideologies of their political bosses or they have gone gooey eyed at being in spotlight, either way they are just as culpable.

So let me get this right.

He`s being allowed to " hide " in an intensive care bed, with the full permission of all the medical staff, plus his police personal protection officers who will have to be there too, at a time of national emergency, all so he can use a piece of breathing equipment, that can be safely used at home by everyone else.

On radio 5 John Ashton clinician and former head of public health north England I’d say being extremely critical of the government’s policy and failure to test , trace and isolate and learn lessons of those counties who’ve got a grip of this .

of course he could be wrong, it might not be the time etc but it was an interesting listen .

Got to laugh at all the celebs telling folk to stay indoors whilst they sit in their mansions with built in pools, cinemas and acres of land.

You have Thai Princes having orgies in German hotels, footballers having threesomes with escorts meanwhile the rest of us peasants stay inside our tiny houses and play with ourselves.

Is that official, or just conspiracy talk?

There were a few cases in November (which we now only know after the fact - again, what were the WHO doing?) but we don't know for sure how long this thing has been around.

And I'm sure the intelligence services of most governments did and none of the western ones acted quickly enough to avoid severe economic / social impacts.

All governments must take a look at themselves – especially the US and UK – but the WHO have been disgraceful, mate. Both of these things can be true.
