But that’s not what many people, including myself, are actually advocating or suggesting. There has to be a balance of support and justified questions/criticism.
My point is that I personally feel that we should be focusing on what they are doing now in preparation for the future - that's where our questions should be aimed.
In fact, many of your own concerns are my own, but I don't feel that it is currently right to be too focused or concerned about what's happened in the past.
How prepared we were a few weeks ago etc. or the state of NHS funding over the past few years really aren't the relevant questions to be asking right now.
How prepared we are now, what the funding is now and what equipment we've got now and in the future, including testing, is where our concerns should lie.
When it's all over, there'll be ample time to ask all the questions and vent about how prepared we were, and I think the evidence itself will be quite telling.
I'm not a supporter of Boris in the slightest, but I'd rather him and his cabinet were given the support to guide us through this, with a fair level of questioning.
After this, I think the public will do their talking with their votes.
This country will extend its lockdown while others in Europe will ease theirs.
That's entirely down to Johnson and his [Poor language removed] ups. A scam artist hiding away to avoid criticism for it.
I think in Spain they’ve said late April, but I’m not paying much attention to that. I firmly expect to be in lockdown through May at least. Anything less than that and I’ll either be over the moon that some big positive change has happened or I’ll be thinking feck that I’m staying home anyway. (One of the lucky ones who can continue working through this from home)
That's a separate issue.France saying they believe - providing the science suggests it's right - to ease some restrictions by end of April.
I'm happy for the UK to extend it further in a bid to further minimise the risk - it surely cannot be safe to relax restrictions too much.
That's a separate issue.
Yes, extend it now to save lives. But there'd have been no need to if this murderous Johnson regime hadn't have allowed things to slide out of control to begin with...and they're still allowing flights in and out of the country and work that's non-essential to happen.
They have failed this country, just like we all knew the lying scum would.
Is it time for Sentinal‘s 3 hour rant yet?
I get the idea of getting behind people and trying to keep it apolitical and certainly speaking for myself I’ll support anyone that gives us a workable solution and One that minimises the national harm and I genuinely mean that .
That said we’re being lied to on a daily basis , that’s obvious and I’m sorry the messages are confused .
We’re going to go from 14,000 tests to 100000 a day in a couple of weeks ? The pm isn’t on oxygen , oh he is . Schools are the safest places , no they aren’t were closing them , yes they are we’re opening them . We’re can’t test as there is shortage of chemicals, oh actually there isn’t . There is no risk to large gathering , we’re cancelling all gatherings as they’re dangerous . People should stay at home that’s the clear message , well unless you can’t work from home and your boss want you in . Herd immunity is the way to go , we never suggested herd immunity was a tactic .
Even government experts are saying there is no exit strategy at this , I’m not say they don’t care nor am I advocating revolution or calling them mass murderers but I’m also not particularly keen on just blindly following whatever they say particularly when a lot of it seems at best confused and at worst down right deceitful.
LBC now police have broke up 660 drink parties since the lockdown.......last night youths outside in a back garden with a bouncy castle plus ale plus Disco etc having a knees up - police went had a strong word let them offf giving them a good talking too deflated the bouncy castle .......had to return later as they had started back up again......
Posters on here worrying about more stingent rules on lock down blame these mupppets .......
The programme on LBC before sadly reported a 29 year old female nurse dying of Covid 19 in a 111 centre died before the ambulance arrived.......when she took ill at home .......

I've said before, but throughout all of this, what's expected of you and I hasn't changed. All we have is a bunch of people on twitter or in the press who think they know how to run the NHS or to respond to a pandemic. We don't. Stop stressing and just stay indoors.
I got it wrong the 660 parties broke up was only in the Manchester area alone - police have already have broke up street parties there too fgs ........And it will be these people whinging the loudest if the government do put stricter rules in place.
Manchester airport has a grand total of 6 'passenger' flights landing there today. Usually this number is up near 300. Two of those flights are to or from American airports where the planes are taking off empty to ensure they hold their spots. One is an internal flight from the Isle of Man. One scheduled to turn up from Doha never took off.Yes, extend it now to save lives.
