yeah but I get the feeling we’re doing the opposite so the mortality rate looks higher so people remain ‘frightened’ to comply . If we tested more and the death rate fell I think we’d see more ignoring of the restrictions. So it feels like we’re maybe going the other way , just a feeling .

In the Evening Standard yesterday they had a photo on the front page of the steps outside St Thomas' hospital awash with people dying without ventilators, a solitary baby in its buggy bouncing down the steps.

It seems crazy that on the 7th April Chris whitty is saying we can learn from Germany and their “testing , testing , testing “ mantra when a number of people on here not to mention the wider world often with zero experience in the field were advocating exactly that a couple of weeks ago . How can we have dropped the ball so badly here when it’s seems so basic ?
I sensed some frustration in his answer, you wonder how much of his advice has had to be bent to government policy, particularly at the start

We were really looking forward to it, and going with a group of good friends. It would have been great, but this bleeding virus will almost certainly still be hanging around, and all of us are in the ‘at risk’ group so it’s safer to be in the U.K......

Also the border is closed...

So I'll tie this in. Our political correctness has blindsided us to the Chinese Governments either willful incompetence or deliberate sabotage that leads us here.

As a consequence, thousands maybe millions will die and our economies will be wrecked.

And I accuse perverse political bias in our education systems as the rotten core that blindsided us to the danger.
What in shitting crikey are you talking about?

Good grief. lol

Answer the question comrades, why is Russian history so important?

You've been led by the nose by communist propaganda that's why the UK government ignored intelligent advice. Cause aye it'll all be grand, we can trust them.

And as a consequence we're completely unprepared.

I genuinely have no idea what you’re talking about , like no a clue . I don’t think I was taught anything other than in passing at school about Russian history and the leap from that to this outbreak seems huge to be honest .
