Post from doctor in Bologna - Worth reading all of it:
To sum up the madness.
Over 28000 tested for Corona virus
1% actually have it.
The whole thing is ridiculous now , media not reporting the full facts, every story designed to create panic over nothing.
As I'll keep saying, if this was just described as a flu outbreak noone would have cared.
First time since the 2008 crisis. Personally I think that's BS as isn't the whole idea "let the free market decide"?America just announced a Cease to Trading on The Dow to try and halt the slide, more chaos to come then!
I'm sure there is a very good logic to this move and I do not profess to have any ideas on Share Dealing etc but this says to me that there is a real risk of a Global Recession but yes from my limited viewpoint I agree that "free market" is the driver and this does not instil faith in any way that I can decipher, sort of reeks of "im taking my ball home!" I may well of course read this completely wrong!First time since the 2008 crisis. Personally I think that's BS as isn't the whole idea "let the free market decide"?
Boring/nerdy explanation: It's an automatic pause in trading for 15 minutes if the market falls more than 7% to maintain liquidity in the markets - it has been in place since the 80's I think.First time since the 2008 crisis. Thank you, that makes more sense. Although dropped 6% on re-opening I believeBoring/nerdy explanation: It's an automatic pause in trading for 15 minutes if the market falls more than 7% to maintain liquidity in the markets - it has been in place since the 80's I think.
Yep it's currently down about 6.5% - a big drop and, if you're interested making money in the long-term, a good time to buy!Thank you, that makes more sense. Although dropped 6% on re-opening I believe
