I hear you.

I'm going out one day a week at the moment and 4 days on the trainer. And I'm deliberately staying on the car free paths once I'm out of the city. I'm even wearing a helmet, which I never do unless somebody forces me to.

As to the mechanicals... I've had 2 in 22 years that required rescue. And one of them was a snapped frame :D

Aye, I've not had many issues over the years, one or two spills, snapped spoke and derailleur, but I couldn't live with myself if any of those happened while I was indulging myself on a ride and I needed someone else to get me home.

I`m still getting my weekly mileage in with my trail running, I`m just staying much nearer to home and doing loops ( which I hate ) rather than long continuous runs.

It`s not hard really.

The problem with lifting restrictions is that as soon as you do so the infections will shoot up again, the NHS is still relatively full at this stage of the year.

I’d like to see the current restrictions imposed for a few weeks more, with a loosening of measures to follow.

As an example, allowing small businesses to open but only if they ensure a limit on the number of people on their premises.

Large scale gatherings such as football crowds should be out of the question until year end for me.

Or until there's a vaccine. Until it can either be prevented or cured, isn't it massively irresponsible for large crowds to gather?

Was out for my run earlier

Streets and roads noticeably busier. Whole families out and about and people letting their dogs run loose.

I always worried that the first hint of decent weather would spoil some of the good work.

I´m just incredibly jealous you still get to go out for a run. Two games of footy and three runs a week to being sedentary for the last 21 days. All for the greater good of course but the thought of this carrying on for another month at least is painful.
