Cheers for the reply mate, yeah it's like things are designed to just pit you off, I can't be bothered going through all the crap trying to claim £120 a fortnight to then be told in June I'm not entitled to 80% wages because I made a claim so was no longer self employed or something

I've got enough to get by for the month and hopefully get my rebate end of April if its really needed if we're still on lockdown, hope the banks are helpful after all this as I'm eating my deposit I've been trying to save haha

I think you have to have a Masters degree sometimes to work your way round how these things work. My mate had an uncle who was the laziest fella in the planet and refused to work but somehow managed to know his way round every type of scenario to claim money from the government or to claim illnesses that were vague and open ended. Even spending hours in the library on the internet.

My mate said that if he put the same amount of effort into working he would have been a millionaire.

Anyway, back to topic, it's probably better for you if you can to hang on til June as you dont want them to say you've already had funds from them. Hope you aren't waiting too long as I heard my cousin was on for 3 hours the other day to them.

Indeed, and in other breaking and hugely relevant and consequential news, I think that Neville Chamberlain fella might be going a bit easy on old Adolf.

We have enough misery going on in this thread, so please excuse me if I attempt to lighten the mood at the expense of one of your heroes......

Step mum ( carer ) still hasn’t had the PPE she was promised this week, let alone the test she was promised last week.
30 visits to the sick and elderly of The Wirral on last nights shift on her own.

Utter joke Hancock saying it’s all being rolled out successfully.
Down to 24 visits tonight due to some being in hospital.
STILL no PPE as promised.
Think it was 6 masks tonight for the 24 patients.

Not a sniff of a test.

So where the hell is it all going. The numbers have been stated, there has to be a blockage or a distribution problem somewhere. There will be a pile of this stuff in someone’s office or storeroom......the tests are a shambles.....
