Well least, after some deliberation, we've finally got you to admit you're just making noise and don't have an actual thought in your head.

Forgetting your petulance. If you are specifically referring to specialists in their chosen fields. Well that isn't our job is it? It is the job of our elected officials.

But you don't know if said elected officials aren't consulting the specialists? So how can you say they're not being consulted.

We have all been told no holidays for 2 months now and we have to work bank holidays as well as normal days.

Which is fine, except there will be no work to do at all by Easter Monday. We have no service to maintain so the staff will be sat round with nothing at that point.

I get the blanket instruction for everyone but no thought has gone into it for departments that are effectively shutting down for 2 months

I suspect departments like that will be furloughed.

Besides watching Pornhub constantly, have you been following the news? The "elected officials" consulted their specialists who were talking out of their ass!!!

Oh look someone who joins a discussion and immediately resorts to name calling, so I'll have to reply to you in a language you might understand ya helmet. Yearly death rate is something that can be predicted it is not working on an assumption it is actually an area of quite complex scientific research, (that means some really really really smart people are looking into this). The expected death numbers in the UK this year are about 600000 (that's a lot of zeros isn't it) most of the deaths from Covid 19 would be expected to be included in this not in addition to it. Now back to bed or you'll get grumpy later and have to go for a nap and you'll miss your cartoons. You bag licker.
I’d already read plenty of your incessant repetitive posts without replying , and your angle was clear as day. You’re patently more arsed about the fiscal impact than anything else. You’re the kind of bulb that’s prepared to apportion a capital value to life, probably because you’re currently losing out yourself.

Yearly death rate is ultimately a matter of fact, I couldn’t give a rats ass about whatever the predictions are for this year excluding COVID-19, it’s utterly irrelevant. What matters is that without the lockdown of individuals this thing would have spread through the entire population like wild fire and taken hundreds of thousands of lives in the U.K., many of who would have been lost merely because of the complete overwhelming of the system.

But here’s you intimating incessantly that the victims of this virus should be treated as little more than collateral damage because they’re often old and with underlying conditions. Because you’re putting yourself and your own fiscal position first. Which makes you a word that I’d get banned for.

Let me counter your hypothetical scenario with another. Sentinel wakes up with an uncomfortable feeling in his chest, and the next day its a bit worse. He decides to go to the hospital, but it is massively beyond capacity because President Tipp Blue implemented a blanket "as you were" policy in response to a highly contagious and lethal virus sweeping the nation, meaning millions got infected. There are literally thousands of patients in hospitals that can only manage hundreds, so Sentinel dies outside the A+E he couldn't fit into
This is also part of what I'm talking about, it's time magazine so a decent source, the health systems are being overwhelmed even with the current restrictions, and have become so concentrated on this virus that people with other medical needs are being turned away. Now the end of the hypothetical story is Sentinel goes home because he was told to go home and rest and dies later at home.

I know you're a little butthurt because the forum knows you're an idiot but honestly, give it up now, we don't know how many specialists, we don't know which specialists in total etc.

Unless there's a specific specialist you know has all the right answers and the gov hasn't consulted them?

Sadly not.

The bigger picture is that all the staff will be relocated if the issues get worse sure. But we could be a few weeks away from that point still and it is dependant on a massive surge of cases in the area.

My department only has work now assisting in the shut down of services , once that's over with we are stuck . This could he reached by next week potentially at the rate we are doing it.b

How come they won't be? I thought it would be in the best interests of most companies to temporarily lay off most of their staff and just let the gov foot the bill?

Like I'm personally expecting to be furloughed this/next week as I'm a project planner and all the projects are on pause indefinitely.

I dunno, taking a wild guess here and say members of the house of parliament.

Having asked several ‘we must change the government’ posters the same question, none of whom had a clue or woJLR offer a single name, perhaps you would like to have a go. Who, by name, would you bring into the government to fix the issues that you see.....go......

What type of projects ?...
