Klaxon warning. Should a national emergency at this stage be called? There's a prime minister absent from his post. Unprecedented.

When do we think lockdown could last to?
Im guessing may/late may? Just based on nothing just gut feeling
What did they say when you pointed it out to them?
Hate it when people talk about their dreams but anyway. Had a dream last night that dominic cummings and his wife came round to mine and mrs cummings was in tears sobbing over something mr cummings had done. Meanwhile my rich tory auntie was trying to stop me from finding out what was going on.

Peak coming earlier them expected, this is good news.
No. Nor were there teeth marks in the pillow. Phew.I just hope that your bed wasn't wet when you woke up.
As a retired banker I heartily agree with you. My former industry not covering themselves in glory here. The banks need a bit of a slapping through all this, lowering interest rates on saver accounts and then coming out with higher interest rate terms on loans etc. They need to remember that it was us taxpayers that bailed them out, now it's time for payback.
Nobody is asking the question but surely there's a leadership void, you can't govern a country by Skype. I wish him best wishes but where is the leadership?
Apparently he's in bed with a severe bout of the flu. Aye, right that'll turn out grand. Back in in the real world, folks are dying and it's probably going to get worse. Is it unimaginable that party loyalties are extinguished for the sake of the nation. So we can get the best people in?
And this applies to America too, whatever the reasons or excuses of being blindsided. It's time that the measure meets the danger.
If we don't act soon countless lives will be lost.
Fairly sure the country is acting and countless lives will be lost
Oh look someone who joins a discussion and immediately resorts to name calling, so I'll have to reply to you in a language you might understand ya helmet. Yearly death rate is something that can be predicted it is not working on an assumption it is actually an area of quite complex scientific research, (that means some really really really smart people are looking into this). The expected death numbers in the UK this year are about 600000 (that's a lot of zeros isn't it) most of the deaths from Covid 19 would be expected to be included in this not in addition to it. Now back to bed or you'll get grumpy later and have to go for a nap and you'll miss your cartoons. You bag licker. That’s nothing but assumption and completely ignores all other factors that drive the annual death rate, and has precisely knack all to do with some Herbert like you seemingly trying to espouse the notion that we should moderate the actions taken to mitigate the spread based on a proportion of those who’ll die not having decades ahead of them.
How about lobbying yourself in the nearest skip.
I won't believe it unless it's on a side of bus...6th june has been mentioned to us at work
