Im stunned that people would still rather see 000s die daily just for a few bob.

But hey ho, I guess thats why people vote for them tories in the first place.

If the economy tanks then money for the NHS goes down the toilet, social services follows the same route, more people end up dying than through the virus. But no one knows. As I’ve said before, we will find out when it’s over and do a comparison. We need both Health and the Economy, neither exists without the other......

What are we comparing?

We will only have 1 version to compare, cos thankfully the do nothing and watch everybody die method was called off.

UK with Sweden.....The U.K. was always going to go into lockdown, they just got spooked to do it earlier than perhaps they might, but it was always just a matter of days.....

Lets hope it works out for them.

Let's hope it works out for everyone - as in what every country are doing.

Not saying it's definitely a better way than ours. We'll just have to see how it plays out. There may well be more than one way to skin this particular cat is all.

How come there has only been 135 people recovered from coronavirus from 22/03/2020 to today?

I don't know - we'll have to see why those stats haven't been updated.

Those are just the 135 cases counted on the sites aren't they.

Like, for example, we all know of two people who have recovered from COVID-19 in Britain - Mikel Arteta and Callum Hudson-Odoi. Are they counted in those official stats?

Lots more people will have had it and recovered than have had it and died. I was just comparing the 'official' numbers we have.

Fox News:

Americans in class-action suit against China speak out on how coronavirus has upended their lives

EXCLUSIVE: The American plaintiffs in a class-action lawsuit filed this month against China say the coronavirus outbreak has injected fear into their everyday lives, kept them home from work and taken away their beloved family members as the pandemic has swept across the United States — and they lay the blame squarely at China's feet.

The suit, which seeks to take advantage of limited exceptions in U.S. law that allow Americans to sue other governments, alleges that China "knew that COVID-19 was dangerous and capable of causing a pandemic, yet slowly acted, proverbially put their head in the sand, and/or covered it up in their own economic self-interest."

Representatives for Berman Law Group, the class-action firm backing the suit, say that they've had upward of 10,000 inquiries from Americans looking to join the class action. Jeremy Alters, the chief strategist and 0non-attorney spokesperson for the Berman Law Group, framed the suit as a struggle to help everyday people who have been wronged by a country that unleashed a pandemic on the world through its negligence.

Actually none of that story makes sense.

Their 13 year old son dies and they immediately set up a go fund me page for a funeral that can't properly go ahead anyway?

They have raised 4 times as much as the funeral cost that would be covered by the state anyway which I imagine and that figure will grow now it's in the newspapers .

That's not normal if it happened in less than a week.
