allow me to paraphrase

But there were quotes the other day about it being about 'ambition' then about transfer funds then about this and that . I'm sorry but it reeks of someone whose trying to not look like someone who is waiting for an offer .

I've said before I've no problem with him being ambitious nor even him wanting to leave but I'm sorry in my opinion he's handled it badly .

He only manages teams who get into europe, well Davey boy are you not the manager is it not your responsibility to get us into europe? You have had opportunities and squandered them with bad managerial decisions, so who's fault is it we are not in europe who's is it.

Blame Kenwright and his lack of finances all you want but other clubs with smaller budgets than ours have been in europe over you managerial reign.

Also if you sod off, we won't be getting any compensation as you have allowed your contract to run down so your an even bigger tool for that.

Wrong. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Premier_League_seasons. The only teams with a potentially smaller budget Leeds, Blackburn, Bolton & Southampton all of which have been relegated. Southampton the only exception to that who still managed to make it back to the Premier League,

I could even argue Leeds, to their detriment had a bigger budget at the time of qualifying and even Blackburn!

He has been asking for assurances for ten years, we have moved forward on a budget, fairly decent some years, but the 24/7 search goes on, we lose Moyes after losing players.

I love Everton, but fear what happens once he leaves.

I think we go back to the 90s, personally. Everything bar the manager and the present squad will be the same. We'll have the same budget we had (possibly less) and the same stadium, ownership etc. I'm not going to say we'll get relegated or anything, but I think it'll be a very unpleasant slide back into the bottom half. I'm not saying that'll definitely happen, but I believe it will. Which is why I'll be delirious if Moyes signs when many will be the opposite.

That's all unless we get a manager in that has Moyes' ability in the transfer market. Which, of course, we won't.

Na. It's Kenwright staying around I fear the most. We are the polar opposite to Chelsea. Di Matteo and Mourihno both won a very decent amount of trophies and still could not please Roman, Moyes has won nothing and Kenwright can't find a buyer to appease the fans, or the manager.

See my point?

The fact that clubs who have got into europe are teams fighting relegation makes it even worse that he hasn't managed to pull it off, it shows that these cups are there for the taking. How is swanseas budget or birminghams again relegated but still got into europe ahead of us and we are not relegation candidates.

He has qualified for the champions more times than all of them combined. It's more about the wider acclaim he has received, he has got Everton to a position of strength whilst those around the club in terms of positional sense look to emulate and shoot him down. David Moyes has performed miracles, and deserves praise, with that comes criticism and rightly so.

He has, by his own admission taken Everton as far as he can, he is a man of his word, the contract has been fulfilled and now hinges on a buyout and a budget, neither look like happening, the next manager to arrive needs a set of balls.

Sorry, so those clubs have been in Europe more often than Everton during Moyes tenure?

he qualified for a qualifier which he lost, he then embarrassed us in the Europa league that season but I accept finishing 4th was excellent no doubt.

As for taken Everton as far as he can I find to be a churlish statement. He hasn't won anything so I'd say there pretty much room for improvement. He's built a good squad now wants to abandon it while there is yet work to be done.

Maybe he hasn't got the balls to rebuild as some of the squad are aging because that is the next phase for us. He failed to win anything with his current squad and he knows he has to start building a new side as most long serving managers have to do at some point. Is he not up for the job because it doesn't seem like it to me.

He is starting to speak out more about reasons why and that is what we want a bit of transparency not keeping us in the dark and hoping in the mean time something bigger and better comes along.

no but they have won cups mate and that got them into europe, or cup finals. Let's not beat around the bush here, 11years 1 cup final(lost)...not good enough.

Yeah. If he was teling the truth the story wouldn't keep changing. It wouldn't have been too hard right from the very start to say "I'm waiting to see what money i wil get from the board because i've had enough of being forced to sell players just to buy players and it affecting how succesful a great club like Everton are, if i dont get the money i need to improve the squad sufficently then i will leave the club at the end of my contract"

Oh well then maybe you could lend him yours eh. Still, why would the owner want to hire a manager with a set of balls the size of yours like when it would be more prudent to hire a Yes Gimp like Martinez who won,t rock the boat.

Where have I suggested Martinez as a replacement.

It's taken Moyes ten years to speak out and let his actions dictate the route the club takes.

So you want the manager to commit professional suicide and tell everyone how s***t his employer is?Wake up fella

So as Everton have qualified for the Europa & Champions League many more times than any club with a smaller budget during Moyes tenure, and even more than many with a larger budget, your point is nonsense then?
