So you want the manager to commit professional suicide and tell everyone how s***t his employer is?Wake up fella

Not in so many words, but he has managed to let his actions speak louder recently.

Im at the point where im not arsed anymore I hope he stays but I cant stand the media drooling over the thought of him leaving us, he either stays and gets backing of the Redcoat, or he ****s off and we bring someone in who hopefully isnt wank. Felliani gets his dream move to chelsea and Moyes or the new manager gets £25 mil + hopefully some TV cash to spend.

Was thinking aswell do you think Ken****e has hinted at the new TV money going straight on other things not the transfer budget? If so the snake needs hounding out now more than ever.

Cue silence as the reality that we've were ****e slowly dawns as the history vaults are consulted......

Alternatively, the fact that we won the FA cup within that 11 year period, and everyone reading this thread should know that, is why nobody can be arsed pointing out that the challenge was idiotic.

No he was using the fact that in Moyes reign we have only reached one final as a stick to beat him. In the previous 13 years we've got to exactly the same number of finals, albeit with a different result. We've probably even been to more Semi-finals and Quarter finals under Moyes than in the Period since the '89 final

We've been to the same amount of finals, more semis but less quarters.

Either way its more the point that we were gash in the period before Moyes turned up but pretty good after he turned up yet he's barely got a better record (depends how you define it) than when we were gash.

In the 11 years before Moyes, how many cup finals did we get to?

we won an fa cup...

So as Everton have qualified for the Europa & Champions League many more times than any club with a smaller budget during Moyes tenure, and even more than many with a larger budget, your point is nonsense then?

obviously I been asleep through our dominant european campaigns then

yawn...you again...let's just say that i don't see any relevance comparing the 90's to david moyes 11 years it serves no purpose. I've said on so many occasions if your going to do that you may as well just look back right through our history and you will find that we were a pretty successful club on many occasions long before you had even heard the name david moyes.

As usual though you have nothing substantial to say in your defence of moyes, i'm tired of trying to debate with you all you do is huff and puff and try for easy put downs your tiresome. If you have something to say that disagrees with anything i say please offer up some perspective of your own. You probably can't offer up anything but conjecture...IF Moyes wasn't here we'd be sh*,t it's weak.

Moyes KNOWS he will get the square root of **** all extra money out of this board in terms of investment to kick on. The tv money will go on wages and the rest will be squirreled away for future debt repayment. He KNOWS the board wont bring new money in via attracting an investor or by generating cash internally by diluting their shareholding. He KNOWS that his request for backing only amounts to a situation he had in the wake of the Lescott deal when it seems he got the bulk of cash for team rebuilding. For Moyes to still be seeking assurances and details regarding that last source of 'backing' via sell-to-buy should fill everyone with horror.

IMO, where we stand at the moment is that Kenwright and the board know Moyes hasn't had concrete offers from other clubs and they're playing hard ball with his request to get all incoming cash from transfers.

It's absolutely tragic. The money that comes into this club and goes through the hands of these carpet baggers wasted (our North Sea oil); and a manager of 11 years standing who is willing to put up with that situation. I dont know who I've got more contempt for: the board or Moyes.

agree mate problem is IMO that Moyes knows the clap clap clappers love Ken****e which is why he wont just come out and rock the boat, as he knows if it comes down to him or Kenwright the fans sadly will always stand up for Kenwright, as you can bet the echo etc. all the minions will make Moyes out to be in the wrong.

I really hope Moyes stays, I think for some people they just want change mainly at board room level but because they know Kenwright wont go they target the closest thing at the top that can be replaced- Moyes, problem is no one we could attract will do any better.

and for those wanting Bruce, Mccarthy they had worse win ratio's than MON did at Sunderland......

Yes, there is a lot of displaced anger at the board that Moyes carries. He cant really complain though. He's backed the liars to the hilt since day one.

I just wonder whether Moyes now regrets his condemnation of fans who were vocal against Kenwright? They were right and he was wrong to do what he did. He lost a lot of support with that stab in the back of people who only had his best interests as well as the club at heart. He burnt some bridges with that stunt. I for one pretty much washed my hands of him at that point.

thats my main gripe with the man aswell mate, I still really hope he doesnt leave though I think the guys a great manager just a shame a big part of our fanbase supports the board. I want to win a trophy more than anyone but until Kenwright is 6 feet under which is the only way IMO we will ever get shot of him I'll be happy challenging for the European spots its not ideal for a club of our history but its not mid table either which I couldnt take.

i reckon we all should try rise some money for the coffers at everton to make sure the big fella stays

ha ha joking like, but its not right now.... imagine if wed had the RS transfer money the past 11 years with moyeseys eye for a talent.... sickening thought.

Don't think you could be more wrong there.

The vast majority of supporters know exactly what the real problem is at the club and what is holding us back.

yet 84% think its well run, the problem is too many of our fans are ill informed regarding what actual goes on at the club, most people I know dont want Kenwright but always say the same old "he cant leave if theirs no one willing to buy" but they dont realise that the club is up for a high price as they dont read forums, inform themselves.
