CONFIRMED: Moyes Leaving - All Reaction Here

I see him looking for offers this summer, Kenwright allowing him to take the best part of that summer to look, Moyes not getting a sniff of a bigger job becauase 'bigger clubs' know he's a bottler, and Moyes eventually signing up again in late July/early August.

And all that new money going on 'other expenses' whilst our debt stays the same.

That's absolutely what I thought would happen up until the Wigan game and that was what people I spoke to suspected as well but I do think Wigan and the reaction is a potential game changer but that's only potential . I still think nobody knows

At the moment mate I hope he does go. His attitude stinks.

It's really quite silly to just use paper quotes to try and understand where he's at. When read, quotes can sound different to whoever reads them, based on their opinion of the man. Plus, they're often inaccurate representations of what he's actually trying to say. This article is clearly by a journo who's looking to go along with the whole textbook "look at what Moyes has done with his amazing signings and nothing else matters, you fickle fools" school of thought. It's pretty obvious as the original Moyes quote wasn't looking for praise at all and was more aimed at praising Seamus Coleman, who he'd actually been asked about.

There's no way he'd insult the fans or have a dig at them openly in the press. If you think he doesn't appreciate the support we give then you're clearly high.

I don't agree with him that the fans lost perspective and I think he still puts our league performance on slightly too high a pedestal in relation to cup success, but I think he has some right to be disappointed at the stick his managerial ability has had as he was, to an extent, let down by his players against Wigan. He's had them win games like that before, so there was no real reason they shouldn't have gone out and done it again.

In the modern day game it's a great achievement.

We've won five FA Cups in 100 years by the way. 18 years without a trophy is not a drought at all when that and the League Cup (0 times) is what we can actually hope to win.

I read this bit 5 times.

*shakes head*

Then try reading the actual post and using common sense.

5 FA Cups in 100 years. The Premier League is not a realistic aim for a club in our position, so past league titles cannot possibly be used as a benchmark for gauging Moyes' success.

Unless you have an agenda that is.

FA Cup every 21 years - Moyes is under that average

And a totally useless thing to stick on Moyes.

You can't compare him to eras when we regularly had a chance of winning the Premier League. In trophies he actually has a chance of winning we've won 5 in 100 years.

Stats are or can be misleading mate because of we can't compete for titles should we be 'more up' for league or FA cup ? I saw us lose at Wembley because we'd played earlier in the week at a final in Rotterdam .

Does that make sense ?
