There's no way he'd insult the fans or have a dig at them openly in the press. If you think he doesn't appreciate the support we give then you're clearly high.
I don't agree with him that the fans lost perspective and I think he still puts our league performance on slightly too high a pedestal in relation to cup success, but I think he has some right to be disappointed at the stick his managerial ability has had as he was, to an extent, let down by his players against Wigan.
