CONFIRMED: Moyes Leaving - All Reaction Here

You are drifting away from the fellow's point.

Which is that not only do Moyes's teams not gain too many wide margin victories, but they rarely seem to try to do so.

Sitting on one goal leads has killed off our CL challenge this season.

And those stats confirm what most of us have known for years.

And which we saw writ large at Wembley last year.

But it isn't that easy.

Otherwise every other team would be doing it.

And they aren't.

The only teams that do regularly win by large margins are those with world class strikers.

If there were a single example anyone could give me of a manager whose teams win by big margins, pick up as many points as Everton and operate on a similar budget I'd be very happy for them to come in and take over. But there isn't. Not a single manager in all his time here. Which says to me that he must be doing something that is quite difficult.

Agree with most of your points. Moyes does a great job on the budget. Those stats about the strikers is sick. What is upsetting me right now with Moyes playing fellaini out of position, but the worse one is putting Neville in midfield. He been too of twice now at half-time. It time for Barkley to have ago, Throw fellaini back in mid with barkley behind the striker.

Its probably been said but ; What he said today that ''We just had an off day and i think most of the fans understand this'' has totally pissed me right off.

Davek for all his critics has always maintained Moyes lowers expectations, and that's a prime example.

TIMAK STAT

Liverpool have won fewer points in the last 3 seasons than Everton so obviously they haven't started allocating points for margin of victory.

No mate, they've not, I thought comparing the amount of wins was a little note on that point. Thanks for taking the piss for no reason tho.

I picked Liverpool because it's Liverpool, I'll have a look at someone else if you like.

This summer with the T.V money and most likely the sale of Felliani, I just can not fathom why if Moyes had the smallest inkling of wanting to stay...why he hasn't signed a contract. Building on our base squad, this summer, he has the best opportunity he ever has to make his mark and finally achieve something at Everton. It actually is the worst time for him to quit if he really wanted to do something great with Everton.....Bizzare!

i dunno, maybe he thought he could get a big pay rise and the threat of leaving would cause the fans to rise up and pressurise kenwright into offering him silly money.

If we were in a cup final and champions league place, the gamble could have paid off.

I think Saturday was a disaster for Moyes. Unless of course he's got a job lined up, doesn't care anymore and is waiting out his contract so Arsenal(?) don't have to pay Everton compensation

I got neg repped for a post 3 days ago with a comment 'Moyes is God'. It was at midnight so his parents must of been unaware he had the laptop on under his bedsheets instead of having a good kip before school. 'Moyes is God' !!! good grief. I might agree if we win at the Emirates or Anfield because that would certainly be a miracle.

Maybe...But surely Moyes is not that much of a scheming conniving b@rstard to leave us in the lurch if he has got another job lined up.

Also, there would have to be some really strange stuff going down if moyes did not get at least 30 Mil to splash about in the summer...It just feels like he is throughing away what he has been trying to build over the last 11 years...

I can't believe kenwright is letting this below average manager treat us like a second rate club. he is basically saying if nothing else comes up he will reluctantly sign a new contract with little old Everton who he thinks he is to good for. It's embaaassing watching this unfold.

Can't imagine what sort of loon would do that mate, but his loyal apologists must be hurting right now, take it easy on them, they're Evertonians too like.

On topic, maybe Moyes is having difficulty having his proposed 20pc salary reduction taken seriously.

It's like they really believe this'll all be water under the bridge come Saturday...
