It's a funny feeling this Moyes thing, sometimes I thinking just go now. And sometimes I get the feeling be carful what we wish for, but more and more I'm feeling, can I bare another season of Moyes tactics an other summer with little activity, Neville in midfield !!!! It's a shame I'm thinking this about because he's been great. But a new manger with Fellini £££ to spend, for me will be really exciting, or it's one big disaster and were in the bottom 3 at Xmas and ill be reading a thread about how this wouldnt of happened if Moyes was still in charge .......

You know who looks after him and I hope you remember I've posted stuff previously that suggests I've heard little bits from that direction and Im told in conversation he's said this stance was against advice .

I think a popular thought was it was very possible nobody (relatively speaking ) would want him and he'd end up signing the deal in the table , I think it's getting to the stage where that's no longer an option.

Wow. If he caves in right now is there any contract there, or are you hearing that if he runs this down to the seasons end it wont be there?

Shame it has got to that, especially with this "wonderful relationship" between the 2 that they have continued to tell us all about over the years.

The real sad part in all if this is that I cannot see how this job will appeal to many, apart from someone trying to make a name for themselves from the lower leagues.

They know they have limited budget, and they know David Moyes has done well with a limited budget, so in a way it is a bit of a poisoned chalice.

The thing for me is I dont think we are punching above our weight, I think we have the 6-7th best team in the league and guess what thats where we are sitting

Yes credit to Moyes for building that team but lets crawl out from his hairy ginger arse and see it for what it is

The team he has currently should be playing a much better brand of football, Not this hoof ball we seem to be subject to season in season out

Unless it's Kenwright's backers who aren't happy with Moyes' stance?

Everybody I've spoken to has been of the opinion that if he doesn't get an offer he'd probably stay and that's what I've posted but yesterday the same people were saying "could he really stay now ?" . There has been a change in the view culminating in this position after the weekend . I didn't see it it but somebody mentioned he got stick in the Sunday supplement and special radio shows about it don't help .

These blokes are just giving there professional view not inside knowledge if that makes sense ?

There was a quote from Moyes from some time around the end of last season when he was first being asked about his contract and other jobs, and he said something along the lines of " I'll stay as long as the fans want me, I wouldn't want them to become sick of the sight of me" (I've googled but couldn't find the exact one I'm looking for". I wonder if the recent booing has made him think he's not wanted any more?

That's right, imo. No shame in acknowledging a feller has done a job to the best of their ability and a new one is needed to move further on. It is a gamble who we get in like, but the time is right now to install a new boss.

wouldn't you think the right thing for moyes to do was walk after the brutal display
we are safe for this season do the right thing moyes and walk.

thanks for the last 11 seasons but E.F.C, needs a change

Found it for you: March 2011 actually is what I've found.

“I’ve always said I wouldn’t want the supporters to get fed up of me, because at the end of the day it’s their football club, it’s not mine,” he said.

"I’m there to do the job and try and do it the best of my ability.

“If I got the feeling they were fed up with me then I’d do something about it. But I don’t at the moment, I still see it as one of the biggest clubs in England, and I’m really thrilled to be manager of the club.”

Yes, I understand that mate.

I tend to believe that his employers know that they cant have the perception of the tail wagging the dog out there for too much longer. It's got to be damaging to them now too.

Lets make a massive banner for the Paddock on Saturday that says "Moyes your a ginger bell end"

That should do the trick

That's the fella, cheers mate.

As I say I wonder if the booing of his subs/ the team at half and full time have pushed us towards that point?
