Sooner he's gone now the better. Would rather have the risk and uncertainty of a new manager than the continual dross being served up by Moyes.

He has no imagination, no team selection foresight and does not appear to be able to provide inspirational leadership in the change rooms.

This all day long.

yet, you might change your opinion when we roam to the wembley. dont get me wrong. im gutted to this situation

Would still consider it an exceptional season if we could do that. Big if like but not inconceivable.

anything can happend mate...actually it would have been "more everton " to win tonight 0-4 and loose to oldham 1-2 at home.

ffs....this is horrible, but what can you do.

i blame board for not backing moyes in transfer window

why the hell we did leave action so late.... we should have signed atleast 2 new players like you and me yelled for a long time

I still think we are a good shout for the cup and will be absolutely stoked if we win it, won't change my opinion though. I'm hoping that the squad will rise together and be able to push on without the leadership required from the manager.

There'll be some finger pointing from a certain P. Neville on Monday that's for sure.

Why are we such an unlucky club? Can anyone tell me!?

No such thing as an unlucky club mate. We have a directionless board and a floundering manager.

We have a good squad with an excellent mix of youth and experience with some good squad workhorses. It's not as big or as expensive as most others in the league, but with the right leadership and organisation they should be challenging for Europe.

Erm. they are...

When I said unlucky I meant Clive Thomas, Panathinaikos, Fairs Cup, Oxford '86, Hansen's Handball, Poll, Collina, Clattenberg, Atkinson and so on. Why are we so cursed with so many hard luck stories - no Istanbul (3-0 down, should have been 4-0) comebacks for us...

Anyway after 11 years and no further progress we've earned the right to have a pop. Sorry Davy, we need to move on now. Cheers. Thanks for the memories. Enjoy Germany.

Wow. Damning, understandable. No progress though? Harsh.
