Plenty of time to get someone. Oh wait, we could only go for Fer, Negredo, and Stones (who won't dislodge Coleman anytime soon).
Disagree that his tactics are universally poor.
We get a decent amount of points against the big sides at home, something not many clubs can say. Unfortunately the defensive style sometimes means we don't put games to bed against lower sides.
If we got a manager with a more attacking style in we'd probably lose more games against the big teams and win a few more against the lower sides. Net gain of precisely zero.
On top of that we'd also lose his ability to build squads from a couple of pennies and a paperclip.
Corrected.
You can't say that though, you don't know what went on. The blame for our squad situation lies with the board.
"Spanish newspaper El Desmarque are reporting that Sevilla have rejected a €14m bid for their player."
Please elaborate William Kenwright?
Certainly Bob. There would have been a down payment with the rest to be paid in installments.
And that limits us to be able to attempt to buy 1 player in world football? Especially when it's common practice to pay transfers in installments.
It's a disgrace.
I dont know what his decision will be on his contract, but his half-hearted protest on the pitch to the referee over an additional 16 seconds being played looked like a man who finally gets it that he's gone as far as he can with us. It was a horrible, pathetic moment.
