i'd like lambert - there i said it. just think he's at villa at the wrong time. no idea what he's doing playing so many youngsters, and if it's a case of he can't control big ego's then he isn't the man for us, but i think he's a great coach. he's a winner
You'd probably be the only Evertonian who would like him mate. He's done an awful job at villa even Mcleish done better than he is.

Im behind Moyes 100% but to say you don't really care that Everton Haven't beaten any of them teams away in 48 games is a bit silly. Anybody can see thats not good.

No, I'm with goat on that one. Who cares really?

It's four games a season that we tend to either draw or lose. Win the other 34 and we're still champions.

In terms of league form the only sensible ways to judge Moyes are the quality of the football and the position at the end of the season. Picking and choosing certain games that we have a bad record at in is bollocks.

Kendall never won away at leeds or Spurs did he? Who cares?

If you want to be a 'big club' you have to be competitive with them.

Also your not bothered we've never won at Anfield in 10 years........ well i am.

No you don't. Beat all the bottom half and you can win the league without once beating the top 4. Man U did, the year we reached the cup final vs Chelsea.

Besides, Moyes could get four points a season off all of them and still not beat them away.

Not to mention, two years back we beat the team away who ended up finishing 3rd (and only not 2nd cos of GD) but that doesn't count apparantly beacuse we're judging ourselves against a team currently in 9th, instead.

It's a nonsense stat.

Well i think most of us would like to win at Anfield, if your not bothered fair enough.

How people can defend that record with a straight face is beyond me.

His record in derbies is appalling and I will condemn him every day for that.

No need to weaken your argument by bringing in bollocks about a top 4 which includes 1st, 3rd, 5th and 9th but not 2nd or 4th, though.

Just say 'Moyes has never won at anfield and never won a trophy'.

I never mentioned anything about a ' top 4' I mentioned 'big clubs'.

obviously we would all like a win at Anfield but that shouldn't define a season.

it does seem a bit arbitrary to ignore road wins at Spurs, who have finished 4th a couple times during Moyes' tenure and City, the defending premier league champions.

any criticism leveled at City imo applies to Chelsea too, so that's a moot point. This 0 of 48 stat is interesting, but can you tell me how many times United have lost at OT across his tenure? I would imagine it's not very many at all.

it's a disappointing statistic, but it's just a point of interest more than an actual criterion to evaluate Moyes' ability as a manager.

people are clowns for wanting moyes out we will be fecked without him, the calibre of managers we could attract on our budget would be the ****e like megson, curbishley, martinez etc all **** when will people realise its that redcoat Kenwright and his 8th avenue street posse board members who are holding us back not moyes, give the man a pay rise and give him cash for a ST, CM, and CB top 4 is out of the question imo but I would be happy with Europa league and hopefully fingers crossed a chance to win the FA Cup would love some silverware and havent been in europe for a few seasons now.

only other manager I would want would be Laudrup and we couldnt afford him.
good post. moyes has been great for us,will be a bad day when he leaves with kenwright in charge...we will be ****ed

... still waiting for some explanation as to why people are so confident that the board we complain about all the time for having no money will most assuredly pay Moyes' unproven replacement the same wage as Moyes.

I think it's meaningless.

There are plenty of reasons not to like Moyes without making up stuff.
Strangley enough mate I don't dislike Moyes at all infact the total opposite and i don't think there are too many other reasons to dislike him. I want him to stay.
