... still waiting for some explanation as to why people are so confident that the board we complain about all the time for having no money will most assuredly pay Moyes' unproven replacement the same wage as Moyes.

Yep.

Why would the board pay £4m for a proven manager when they could get some average 'wont get you relegated' manager in for half that.

That's a decent point.

I still say we could get a top manager here if we wanted to, but there's no reason we will.

Still the board must know that Moyes has kept the fans off their backs, surely they'll know a mccliesh will get the fans on their backs again?

I never mentioned anything about a ' top 4' I mentioned 'big clubs'.
So you think its good we have never won at Man utd, Chelsea, Arsenal or Anfield under Moyes, haha yeh mate its boss isn't it.

No one's saying it's boss, the point is that it doesn't mean anything in the grand scheme of things and your league position. Blackburn won away at Old trafford last year and look at them now. I'm sure if you'd have asked them would they rather have won most of their home games instead of the holy grail of beating a 'big' team away, you'd probably be able to guess their answer. Means nothing

who the **** with any ambition is going to take over from moyes, no money to spend, sell to loan, its a big big gamble on are next manager....but with bill still in charge he will have to work with his hands tied behind his back.

id rather get in europe and cup finals and semis than win the odd game at the ****e tbh.

I agree if we have to choose.
Can't see why we have to choose one or the other though. you would think if he was acheiving Europe and a cup final and semis we would win the odd game at least.

id love to beat most teams away mate, when sharpy scored at the pit...it was 14 years since we won there.

we have gone to the sky 4 over the years with lesser teams than them and thats a fact, but over a season we have done great...thats just life

4 million Quid a year, i can see Sven having a sniff of some of that.

We have all forgot about Sven.

SVENNIS! haha. great shout.
I think moyes will sign a new contract as could/would he have persuaded players like Jags to sign new long term contracts if he was about to walk away?

I fear Pip Neville will be Moyes replacement, he's been auditioning for the role for years.

Not afraid to upset supporters by criticising them and always supportive of the board (I don't expect him to badmouth his employers, but no need for the pillowtalk).

Contrary to popular belief when Moyes leaves Goodison will not crumble. The Hot wok will not explode, Dixes statue will not melt and the Park End Annex will .. wait. Err.. yea everything except the Annex.

Funny how loads of random people on Twitter are watching Moyes doing punditry on Celtic's game, 2nd night in a row as a pundit, and all are asking the same questions I asked on here a few days ago.

Ie completely out of character for Moyes, what does this mean for his future, is he looking to go into the media, etc etc.

On the surface it does seem strange, and possible part of his exit strategy.

Moyes is a very clever man, and doesnt do anything rash or without thinking hard about it first.
