Funny how loads of random people on Twitter are watching Moyes doing punditry on Celtic's game, 2nd night in a row as a pundit, and all are asking the same questions I asked on here a few days ago.
Ie completely out of character for Moyes, what does this mean for his future, is he looking to go into the media, etc etc.
On the surface it does seem strange, and possible part of his exit strategy.
Moyes is a very clever man, and doesnt do anything rash or without thinking hard about it first.
if Moyes had any ambition and exeptional talent why is he wasting his time with a stingy bunch of also rans like Everton ?
why has nobody spotted his obvious talent and lured him away from Goodison to allow him to blossom ?
what is his short to medium term goal ? to end 6th or 7th for the 5th time ?
either we must say to ourselves we are happy to be a bridesmaid for the next 10 years or somrthing has to change at Everton - more spending money or new coach getting us into Europe at least -
Moyes has done well but i think he has hit his ceiling due to certain flaws in his make-up like
strategic shortcomings ,
lack of killer instinct -
always choosing the safe option -
lack of squad rotation -
preferring experience above youth -
playing certain players way past their sell by date -
playing too many players out of position -
not using subs effectively -
not developing or securing a reliable striker -
underperforming youth system -
so yes if we want more of the same as the last 10 years Moyes must stay -
some of us just feel the time is right for a change -
the Board and\or moyes must stop playing mind games with us the fans - ffs - get the contract signed or lets move on -
NOBODY IS IRREPLACEBLE - not even Sir Alex Ferguson
Neil Lennon??
At least Celtic are having a crack tonight at the big boys
moyes is wanted by all the media. he's a manager of a top 6 club one of the biggest clubs in england. challenging for champions league
its nonsense to suggest the media wont want him in the studio as a result.
hes a media darling. irrelevant to his contract

Are these song lyrics or a poem or something?
Moyes has been doing media work at all major international tournaments for the past few occasions. Shall we assume he wants to be an international manager?

No.
It's the fact he's in London on a Monday night on tv, then Glasgow the very next night on tv. At the start of what many would deem an important week ahead for Everton, in a big FA Cup fixture.
People can disagree with me and think what they like. All I'm saying is based on Moyes' style for the last 11 years, this is out of character for him. He doesn't go for this 'high profile' stuff normally. He's been offered and turned down tons of tv work over the years, usually citing his own informal rule of 'not during a season'. What other Premier League manager would you see on tv 2 nights running, during the season, and doing this amount of travelling too for the sake of tv?
I just think it's ominous and not a good sign. Tweets from Dave Prentice tonight would also indicate he feels that way about 'Moyes' staying at Everton' at the moment too.
