Even with offering £65k a week, a top manager wont touch Everton FC, dont be so stupid!

It's not stupid ffs.

Have a think about it, Moyes is the 12th best paid manager on the planet. To assume that a quality manager wouldn't take the job if £4M was on offer, due solely to the lack of transfer cash, is naive in the extreme.

It depends on who specifically you're referring to, as a generalisation I'm saying you're wrong to assume the lack of major funds would overide the handsome wage packet. There'd be plenty of well respected managers in the game, who'd take on Everton & their limited budget with a 3 or 4 year £4M per annum contract on the table.

who? with no budget please, what Moyes net since he been here? and can you find another manager who can beat Moyes net record in the top divisions?

How the **** can I name them?

Am I deriding Moyes achievements? No, far from it.

Moyes is nothing to with the discussion, the assumption is that Moyes has moved on & we're looking for a replacement & you'd have to be plain daft to think that a salary of the same size wouldn't be of interest to a host of quality managers in the game.

How many clubs are there in world football who do not have to buy and sell players ?
There are two in England.
I am not sure about Spain,but I know that a couple of years ago Real Madrid got a huge bail out from the city because they were in a financial mess.Barcelona certainly are very careful about he money they spend.
At present it would appear to be PSG and some of the Russian clubs.

I see Laudrup is this years cup of tea for replacing Moyes, lets have a look at previous years

2012 = Brendan Rodgers

2011 = Owen Coyle

2010 = Roberto Martinez

2009 = Zola

2008 = Mark Hughes

Difference is, most teams who 'sell to buy' get the whole fee to spend, at Everton, the manager will be lucky now if he gets half.

You missed the point mate.

Moyes once had to go 2 years without buying a player as well as selling, can you really imagine experienced top level managers saying 'yeah sound' to that ? I can't.

Even Fulham have spent noticeably more than Moyes in the past 6 years. Fulham ffs. Stoke have spent way more too, as have Newcastle.

i'd like lambert - there i said it. just think he's at villa at the wrong time. no idea what he's doing playing so many youngsters, and if it's a case of he can't control big ego's then he isn't the man for us, but i think he's a great coach. he's a winner

Sorry but we wont get anyone as good as Moyes on the budget we spend, so we would have to take a gamble on a new manager which could easily backfire. We will be linked with the likes of Coyle, Mark Hughes and Tony pulis who would all take the job. I would take a gamble on a lower league manager but no way will we be lucky twice, once Moyes goes we will end up with around 4 managers over the next 10 years.
