No denying that he's failed to win us a trophy, but i think it's a bit of a myth that his record in cups is really bad. I don't see many teams below us doing consistently better.
As you said, there's a large element of luck in cup runs.
Agree entirely, I think he's done us pretty well and I am confident of another decent run, possibly even some silverware but until he does he always has that failure hanging over him.
Personally I still don't understand why its deemed that he bottles every pressure situation but the Liverpool and Untied games don't count during that season we reached the final.
There is clearly an element of either lucky or rich in the cup, can't think of any averagely funded team during
Moyes reign that's won two but I am sure I will be corrected.
Personally I think that the fact that only 1 or 2 managers can be considered capable of replacing him speaks volumes about his talent, but if you don't like, you'll always see a different perspective to those that do I guess.
