I honestly believe we'd get some brilliant managers go for it if it became available. We wouldn't have to be looking at Martinez, Adkins and the like assuming Bill kept the wage at a similar level.
Moyes will definitely be here next season.

I'm a manipulative [Poor language removed], sorry. You can't just play on my love for 80's movies like that. It's out of order.
To me that's why I wouldn't like him here. I admire his principles but he's trying to play continental football on a rugby pitch. Your manager needs to be able to adjust to the situation at hand.

In one.
I remember last season at Goodison, when we were in shocking form they turned up & he had their donkey backline trying to play out from the back, but they simply didn't have the quality on the ball to carry it off. We were closing them down, they were giving it away, hoofing it, & looking like rabbits in the headlights. It wa obvious to a blind man that he was asking players who just weren't technically good enough to play in a style that he wanted them to play. As a result they were total gash.
He persevered with his ego trip management style until they were on the point of being doomed, he then got them to go more direct & hey presto they started winning a few games & stayed in the PL with a combination of endeavour & pure fluke.
He was lauded as a hero for keeping them up, when the reality was his obsession with style over results, had created the position that they found themselves in. For me he's a goon, I'm out.
It'd have been interesting to see how Davie would have coped with Bayern tonight.![]()
