I’ve got a threepenny bit (used) and a 1948 florin which I hammered round all the edges to make a ring,still haven’t drilled the centre out after 40 years.
Not too sure if they are worth any. Same with the new £1 coins, as ive just had a quick look and some places are saying they are worth something, but they all look the same to me

Don't bother mate,i did the same on the sly in metalwork at school,made a good job of it too,polished on the buffing machine it looked brilliant. Sent my finger green then black within a few days.
